MP3 encoding in Java
I'd like to be able to change the information (artist, album, date, etc) in the mp3 encoding for mp3 files. Does anyone know of library that can help me do this in Java? Searches reveal that the LAME project may be useful, but I'd like to hear if anyone else knows of others to look into.
Thanks,
and best of luck in your own endeavors :)

Re: MP3 encoding in Java
there's a java project which wraps LAME with JNI. That's your best bet. JRE has no core mp3 support. You could figure out whatever you want, or setup some piped streams and use something command line like FFMPEG for your conversion, etc. if you don't need playback.
