ActiveX

Hi,

I´ve been struggling with the activeX control Mulitmedia control, which uses MCI.

I get everything to work fine for DeviceType= CDAudio, but when I try avivideo or mpegvideo, i can´t get the device to open. Do I need to include anything to make it work for video as well? Please let me know if you can? Maybe there´s a better way to accomplish MCIplaying of video, please let me know and if so, how?

I see you are working with ActiveX and Excel - databases.
Did you ever done a ActiveX that uses CDaoRecordset (or something with DAO).
If you do, please help me !!!
