CR 8.5 installation error

Hi..

When i try to install crystal report 8.5, It ll showin an error Lotus notesSql 2.06 setup is required.. Why we need this...?!! Can anyone explain it.. And am not getting any free link to download it.. Am using Windows xp operating System and VB 6.0 in my system.. Is windows Xp compatible with CR 8.5?!

I've not seen this one before. Cr 8.5 is ok with Xp.

I'd suggest booting in safe mode and trying the install from there.

Sure i ll try it first... But i want to know reason for this error.. if possible plz explain me..
