Choosing between AI Engineer VS Data Scientist : Seeking Suggestions & Resources

My younger brother is about to complete his 12th class and he is considering two fields in which he wants to make a career that is either as an AI Engineer or a Data Scientist.

My Concerns are -

- What are the important skills and technologies required for AI engineers and Data Scientists that my brother should focus earlier on to be effective in selection between the two?

- Also, are there any comprehensive roadmaps or guides you would recommend for him if someone is aspiring or starting in these fields?

I think he should consider pursuing a bachelor's (or master's) degree in Computer Science at a well-reputed university. There, he will acquire a solid foundation in science and be able to specialize in a field that meets his interests. He will also meet interesting people and have a good time.

I guess that, as an AI Engineer, your brother will have more opportunities to realize himself in the future, given how AI technologies are developing right now.
