Accessing the cn.Errors object when using adoDC controls

I am using adoDC controls to load a DataGrid. Since the adoDC control exposes only SOME of the underlying Connection object methods, how do I get the Errors object, which would normally be accessed as cn.Errors if doing it all programatically?
