I don't KNOW why, but I can guess:

All the thread on the first page were thread from the General discussion forum, most of them being only slightly or not at all related to programming. As CodeGuru is still a programming site, I suppose Brad decided to remove either the threads not related to programming or the whole General discussion forum from the main page.

It seems fair enough to me.

Another possibility is that the hot thread section count the number of answers "in the last" something. As this thread has become more quiet recently, it might be the reason why it's out.

By the way, have you read all you had missed?

That's about 10 posts in 20 minutes. That can make a lot of emails. As long as you're doing things in CG, vBulletin knows that you are logged and seems to think that you are viewing the posts for which you have received emails, so it keeps sending you an emails for each new post. :mad:

While I was trying to make my answers to this thread, I kept receiving two or three emails from CG before I could finish each of them. All that for one thread :D:D

This thread is still the best ;)

That's why I avoid subscribing to threads like this one :D It's easier to just come here once in a while and check rather than to delete 20 emails ;)

Could Irona be a fake? Platinum Plus was corrected by Irona once regarding his errorneous "Spanish" signature. And now Irona herself is corrected by Elrond???!!! Hmmm........
Also, regarding both Irona and Yves M locations. Yves the awesome Mafia boss is from Madrid, Luxembourg.(yay! correct spelling this time!:D)
