I think Simon's about to bust out his angry eyes :rolleyes:
:cool::):):)
I know he said whether I was pretending to be a ****, but how could I do that in a believable manner if I am not a ****. Xeon has doubted this in the past a couple of times ever since I pointed out to him that some people pretending to be a girl or with a girl in an avatar aren't necessarily girls. You do not see it in the entire history of my and Xeon's postings, all you do is look at that post and leave out the context. I've been accused of ripping things out of their context once, now it is my turn. :pQuote:

And I also know Xeon hasn't specificly said Asian, but it implies so with >98% probability. It also implies otherwise with <2% probability, I know that Elrond, but you have to admit this is on the lower side. Although this reminds me of the story of the statistic that drowned in a river of on average 1,5 m deep while the engineer built a bridge over it. :DQuote:

Hmmmm... Didn't think of that one yet. :DQuote:

I know it isn't bad being on Codeguru at midnight new year's eve. But if it is for programming (although this site is intended for it ;)) it could cause some concern. It could imply a serious deadline, or having a lot of work, or being a work-a-holic. I still enjoy programming for a living, but not until midnight you know.Quote:

I said it before, I think if I wouldn't stand up for myself it could imply that I am lying and making things up. Having self-respect it good manners. But I will drop the subject. I'm seriously annoyed with it. :rolleyes:Quote:

Xeon, I know new year is different for the Chinese. But I don't know whether our 'New Year' it also 'New Year' for Singapore with all its different ethnicities. I also never expressed anything else but concern about you if it would be New Year to you that you would still have to be programming. If that isn't nice I don't know it any more. And don't tell me that about other countries. We have all kinds of people from other countries at the university so I probably know more than you. I had a guy from Vietnam once and I know they also celebrated chinese New Year somewhere around february. The festivities over there last a couple of weeks (2-3, don't remember exactly).Quote:

Xeon, once again, I never said you did something wrong, like the girl in question. I only expressed my concern about you. If that isn't nice I don't know. I even held this poll 'Who misses Xeon' when you were gone. It is hard for me to admit, but I do care about you. Happy now? You know as well as I do that I rather like to tease you and that being a bit nasty is my second nature, why else would there be a 666 in my name?Quote:

Wow, that went rather deep wasn't it? Therefore I never used it as avatar. I'm sorry for that. Still I think it looked rather funny.Quote:

Aaaawwww... The skin of my face is hanging loose in rips. All those years of being spiteful, nasty and mean without smiling have made the skin near my face be so tight that smiling would make it rip. Yaaaarrrgghh... I am maimed for life. Xeon has finally found a way of eliminating me.
Nah, just kidding in my own (sick and twisted) way. :D
From Simon666:
Yes, you might have all kinds of people everywhere in your universities, but I don't care! No one knows Belgium more than a native Belgian, and no one knows Singapore more than a native Singapore. :)Quote:

Ok! All's fine then! It has been said that duels, spites, fights, wars, battles and rages turn people from strangers to aquitances, and from aquitances to friends, and from friends to pals, and from pals to brothers.(or sisters, depends)Quote:

Since your golden words made me sob, I shall forgive you and we shall put everything behind us. :)
Right. Anyway, I'm sorry too if I was too nasty. That's because I'm darn sick of you behaving in a twisted way.(which is 100 times more twisted and XTreme than me)Quote:

Aye~!
Have to go now, so see you folks. :D:):):D
Xeon.
Hi, Guys!!!
Nice to hear U again! :)
Welcome back, Dimm_Coder! So, how's your Christmas and New Year? Maybe you shouldn't spin too much. It makes me dizzy. :D:D:D
Look at that! Oh that was beautiful! If only everyone could have a success story like that. It made me tear when you both apologized to each other. It's better than a sitcom. I'm glad you guys are pals again.
Welcome back dimmy!
It is acquaintance. Seems you are the dumbest codeguru.Quote:

As you can see, you're not rid of me yet. :p :D As nasty as can be,
Simon. :) (Ouch that hurts. I need to keep practicing.)
So that's it, it lasted a whole two minutes?
I didn't notice you were replying at 'Who's Online'. I have even never noticed you. You are probably in Invisible Mode. If Xeon does not want people to spot him at 'Who's Online', he could turn that option on.Quote:

[sarcasm]Oh that was subtle.[/sarcasm] I thought you said you were going to drop it?Quote:

Besides, nobody likes a gloater. Isn't that right, Xeon?
Xeon: Yep.
Me: See? See?
That is not sarcasm. That is what we call 'advice'. Xeon has accused me of stalking him many times, just because I have discovered and am using the handy option 'Who's Online'. This option is however not hidden somewhere but also used by many other members. 'Invisible Mode' can be set in the 'Edit Options' of your profile.Quote:

Oh by the way, can you explain why and how I am gloating. I looked up the definition and couldn't find anything that applies to this situation.
I realize all this, and what I meant was the sarcasm applied to my comment.Quote:

Well, since you claim to have won the argument, and now you're doing what could be interpreted as throwing it in Xeon's face, that qualifies as gloating. The definition of gloating (which apparently that site doesn't include (strange...) is to take pleasure from humiliating another person whom you beat at something. In this case, an argument.Quote:

Sorry, but when I am up late (21.47 local time now) my brains tend not to function fully any more. That is also another reason why I was wondered Xeon was up so late.Quote:

Like I said before frequently, I'm not trying to beat Xeon, I'm trying to prove I'm not a liar and I know what I've seen. And this seems like you can't leave this conflict behind you. I was just trying to give some advice to avoid future conflicts.Quote:

fine, take the last word.............not!
