Simon666, Xeon, solarflare:
I have had much better opinion about you guys. It has changed since I went over your posts.
It seems to me that not only are you working really hard on mudding each other but also setting number of posts really high!
Come back to earth! Insults are never good for anybody neither insulter nor insultee.
Well OK. I'll try to keep it limited to specific threads. I thought nobody even reads the general discussion forum.Quote:

Welcome back Yves and happy New Year, and to you too John. By the way, why are you counting Elrond in? He's a nice guy. He never said a bad word as far as I know.
About the number of posts: don't work it out on us. It is not our fault there still isn't a rating system. Seems like you're upset with this, or started becoming it ever since someone found it necessary to boast about his post number.
Sorry Elrond I have pasted your name and did not catch it before hitting post button.
Simon666, thanks for pointing it.
I always assume people are kind unless they proof otherwise.Quote:

As for ratings? I am not taking it on you; it is just an example to show how system is wrong.
Yes I am little upset about ratings from the beginning, when codeguru changed format. I have gotten over it for time being but it recently becomes hotter issue.
Most of us long time members are taking time from very tight schedule and I am sure that some kind of recognition for quality not quantity would be appreciated by many.
Finding solution for the problem is challenging for me and I enjoy it, that is why I am still here. I have never initiated thread with a question, always trying to resolve problems.
Well, I was home in Luxembourg with my family for christmas etc. :)Quote:

Yeah, true... Oh well, it doesn't really matter to me, since you sort of get to know the regulars and know how much they know about specific topics, but then again it's probably different for new visitors...Quote:

You can tell how good a response is by reading it, not looking at the number of posts! I know that when I post a programming question I don't examine the validity of any post by checking who put it there. Besides, most people only post serious stuff in the programming forums.Quote:

You say that with contempt, as if there were something morally wrong with asking a question. John, I realize that some of the people here don't conform to your every whim, but they don't come into your house and criticize you for no reason, so don't do it to them. You can't seriously insult people and expect them to take it without a response.Quote:

From Yves M:
Hi there Yves! Happy New Year! U know, we all miss you so much, especially since you're such a nice, warm, friendly and handsome, cute and awesome SuperModerator!Quote:

Some of us, especially ME(XEON) and SolarFlare, misses you like anything! Ohhh......how touching! :D
Life is really bad when our great Mafia boss is gone, u know.
From JohnCZ:
Again, I wanna emphasize on the fact that Xeon, Simon666 and SolarFlare are the 3 mighty EgoLords of CodeGuru. Let this be recognise throughout the entire site, and that all SuperModerators are aware of this. And yes. The EgoLords posters will be coming out really soon. A new boyband with new ego of the new Age : Simon666, Xeon and Solar. :DQuote:

It's hard to believe, but I have around 120++ points here in the past! The number is pathetic cmpared to VGirish(3000++ points!!!!!) and Sam Hobbs and Phillip Nicoletti and Paul McKenzie etc., but it's still much better than NULL! :DQuote:

Aye~!

Now now! The first beast-match was between Simon666 and Xeon. Now, it's gonna be between JohnCZ(Twin Fangs) and SolarFlare!(Burning Force)Quote:

And Yves M shall be the judge!(John......if you win, you'll become one of our Mafia member and start collecting gurls and money from new Codeguru members every 2 weeks)
JohnCZ wouldnt stand a chance. Look, he's already skipped outta here. What would I get if I win??? I think you told me once that I couldn't collect gurlz/$$$ from people for some reason. :(Quote:

No no.....John is just resting in The Den. Our customs is that before the fight begin, you must go without garments and get massages by cute gurls.Quote:

After this do you go out to the ring to trash things out.
As for the prize, it's your choice : 16 free gurls(really cute) from different countries(USA, UK, Russia, Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Denmark, Hong Kong, India, Singapore) or US$800,000.
Your choice. :cool::cool::cool:
People you're crazy how can you write so much in the holydays.
BTW HAPPY NEW YEAR
:D ;) :p :)
I don't have a life. I had to help my parents with moving furnature out of the house of a family member. So far my "vacation". I'm actually glad to be back at work. But my back hurts due to the lifting of heavy stuff. :( How was your vacation?Quote:

I'm a teenager, man ;)
I went to parties, discos, clubs..., went skiing several times..., played RPG with my friends, went to bridge tournament...
as a whole it was cool
Sory you didn't enjoy yoursrelf during the vacation...
That's probably bacause you didn't come to the party at my place :D ;) :p
Wish you a nice 2003. More parties, more fun :D
You can tell it but not every one can. For some problems, there are different solutions. All will work, so all are correct, but not as good. A new coder my start with the solution of the most senior member because he has no other real idea which is the best.Quote:

The old rating system helped me sometimes at the beginning (even though someone could get high rating with a lot of answering, not just with the best answers).
To JohnCz
You deleted my name before I saw it, so no proplemo ;)
Happy to see that some people are back. It will change a little from the war of the three! :p :D
Hey it is not like I'm near retirement. I'm 24. Although my back feels like it is ruined by now. If you know my dad collects old pinball machines you'll understand it is not just from moving furnature once. And Bulgaria is way too far man. If it were Luxembourg I would say OK maybe. Maybe if I get valium or something prescribed I will still be able to feel like I'm in higher regions. :DQuote:
