So you claim 201 posts/64 days = pi posts/day meaning pi is rational? I think I just found the dumbest codeguru. :DQuote:

Geez Simon must you ruin everything? I'm sure 7th* wouldn't make fun of your favorite number! As for a computer gaming showdown: you wouldn't stand a chance.Quote:

It is not clear what you imply. You know as well as I do my favorite number is not pi but an int, 666.Quote:

You are probably hoping that I will furiously deny this but I have to disappoint you: it is true. My own brother kicks my *** in UT. Unless you are not as well equiped as I am, if you do not use an optical mouse you would not know what difference it could make. :cool:Quote:

I'm trying to figure out what this means but it's morning here and I'm tired so rather than say something intelligible I'll respond with the following quip: I wish I had an optical mouse :(.Quote:

So you don't have it. I would not be so sure then of your superiority. :D :p  It is something we noticed as at first we only bought one optical mouse, and the person to play with that one used to win 75% or more of the time. The power of your system is important too, we noticed that a slight lag has serious consequences and last also the screen resolution (800*600) or (1024*780) is important to a lesser degree.Quote:

Whoa! U 2 are really getting into a race, eh?
Simon changed his avatar and now Solar! Whoa! :D:D:D
Er...Simon & Solar, stop tarnishing my reputation(I'm an EgoLord too) and embarrase me in front of everyone, especially the girls.
Wanna fight? Go home and trash things out! :D:D:D
We are the trash so I'm not going anywhere. :DQuote:

Whoa! The three of us all at once! Yes, I have noticed that about starcraft. On my old computer it was really really really slow so it lagged and the mouse was dusty. I always stunk. Now I have adequate equipment and so people don't hate me as much on battle.net. Actually, I have a fairly decent reputation there.
Actually I only recently have ADSL, which is quite a bit fatser than the old modem at around 5-10 kB/s. I haven't played online yet. I hear that there are a lot of cheaters spoiling the fun.Quote:

I forgot what I wanted to say...
Ah yes, Simon, I find your avatar aggressive! >8(
There was a glitch in b.net (there seem to be a lot) that caused me a lot of trouble. To begin with, let me mention that I play starcraft because I enjoy multiplayer better than single player games and b.net was a great network at the time I started using it. Starcraft is a good game but it's not the best; I play it because I like b.net. With that said, there's a type of game (Use Map Settings) where you would not get credit for a win or a loss, but you would be credited for a disconnect if that occured. I played the UMS games for a while on an alias I never planned on using in real games. But I forgot and won two real games with it, so my record was 2-0-22. People all saw this and figured I was a hacker, so they booted me and nobody would let me play! B.net obviously has some problems, but I really dislike the other multiplayer networks available. By the way, Simon, when you play online, what is your name (I don't go often but there's a chance we could meet each other...)?Quote:

By the way, today I have just been fired. Me and my two colleagues in the Service Desk. The company wants to reduce costs, so thay are taking all the Service Desks they had (three, one in Europe, which is mine, another one in USA and the other I don't know exactly where in Asia) to a single place, Montreal. And the three of us are losing our jobs in march.
It's not so important, as I had a temporal contract finishing in april, but in one month or so I won't be able to talk with all of you every morning. :(
Ok, I'm fine, I just wanted to let you know. At least I can see the sun today for the first time in three days. :)
Ana.
Oh come on, the 666 in my name is already testimony of some agression. All those who want to change me again, please PM me as I do not want to be responsible for starting up another ridiculous poll. :rolleyes:Quote:

Now I've been called a misanthropist, but I don't make fun of people losing their job. Ana, what job are you looking for actually? Towards programming or more towards sales/marketing? Perhaps whatever you can get, but what is your preference?Quote:

Fine. But don't complain it looks even scarier now. :mad:Quote:
