As for me, I have some life organization problem now. Soon I will not have place to live and now I try to find the one new.
Oh, btw, Is it only for countries of the last USSR to have "the mark about place where U live in the passport"?
I am a last year student now. Student after he's ended studing must have the place to work at the govermental firm for 2 years. But I have been working already for 1,5 years on the commercial firm. They send a special paper with a query to give me a resolution to work there. But I need "the mark in the passport of Minsk place". This is the different thing : to live in one place and to have a mark in the passport that U live here. After I will change this mark (for money of course... this is near 300$/year at Minsk, but I found for 150$ near Minsk), I cannot live in the student hostel, so I must rent a room or flat. But this is enough high to pay for.
Hmmm, it is difficult to find right english words for this theme, so if anyone understands I am glad.

You have to work for a public company, like we have to do some military service for some time ? Can we compare these?
I don't know what you call a mark on a passport.
We have our address on the passport too. Yes, you hae to tell where you live. And you have to change it when you move. (btw I have to have mine updated).
But this has nothing to do with where you work.
When you are a student, and live in Halls of residence for students, you usually give your parents' address on the passport (or any official paper).

I tried to explain this before (unsuccessfully)... the reason people don't like this forum is because the content is a bit crude. As one of the main contributors to this crudeness, I'm doing my best to reverse this and increase the reputation of the forum and its "inhabitants."

Nah, Simon never was and still isn't! I think I misread the pm, it actually said "you could live with him any time if you're willing to rearrange the furniture 24 hours a day to match his every whim."

This forum is very lucky that Xeon exist. At least I'm a balancer in the whole process. If 100% of the folks here are too political, serious, cold and hard, this whole forum would be doom. But if there's at least 1% of folks(ME) who tries to balance the cycle, it's not as bad.

U need predators and prey in a healthy ecological cycle, folks. :D

Just read this thread. For your information: I never offered such a thing, I have rearranged the furniture a couple of times (2 times in around 4 years), I have never eaten chicken chop and I do not have a cult (yet :D). Also have an extra space free at my appartment because my brother recently graduated and found work at a place closer to home, but that is until I find a smaller/cheaper appartment. Besides, I'm very fond of my property as you can witness.

Until recently, Ireland would have probably been the best. Now, it is heavily struck by the economical crisis (as there are a lot of american companies), so it's not as good.

I heard that Germany have enough vocations for programmers and even some special immigrants programs for them?
What about USA, Canada, Australia?
Of course , with a current bad situation on IT industry, may be this is more hardly than some years ago.
