mathew, you seem to be getting a little upset about this... IMHO, it's a VERY good thing, that this thread has somehow become immortal. why? because it shows that we, the programmers and software engineers out there, are the most patient, persistent and ambitious people!
even if it get's very very boring - as work sometimes does -, we still want to do the job (winning, in this case)!
