There isn't a VBforum.com that isn't a forum, so it stood to reason that CG, using the same software was the opposite, i.e., just a site of articles.

I would say it's more like CG is the Parents Forum.. where the adults talk and discuss ideas... and VBF is the kiddies forum, where the children can run around and make a lot of noise... But the parents can pop in every now and then (Via the Forum link) and check up on the kids... :p :p :D

I totally missed the fact that there was a forum here last year, or I may have stuck around (http://www.codeguru.com/forum/ ) I just visited http://www.codeguru.com and it didn't look that impressive, when I wanted to chat.

If I wanted to read articles and opinions, there was always www.vbwire.com (sorry if I get the link wrong) hmmm. now, when I clicked on the link, I was referred back to vbf. Something is definitely wrong.

I think vbf has more variety in their chit chat posts. If something goes astray, the mods prune the threads, and when it goes overboard, Brad threatens to shut it down.
