How about Brokeback Mountains
I like Ernnuss[sp?] --main character :)
I recently watched Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Did not enjoy.
Also, I went to Burn After Reading last weekend. Also, did not enjoy (and thats even a Coen Bro's movie!)
Maid in Manhaton
I had watched Tropic Thunder last weekend. I highly recommend you to catch this movie in cinemas this coming weekend! I was laughing from the start to the end. There are many A-list stars as cameos in Tropic Thunder. A funny movie to de-stress and relax yourself over the weekend!
Last but not least, enjoy your weekend! :D
is there implication for suspense, horrors?
I know what you did last summer is my favorite.
Tropic thunder was cool. Just plain fun.
Watched Fiddler on the roof. Very interesting musical. Loved it tremendously.
Watched Matrix Reloaded for the first time last night. Tonight I'll watch the third and last Matrix instalment.
Napoleon Dynamite
Fun movie..
Nightmare on Elm Street 1
Still as chilling as when I watched it the first time LOL!
Did you know that this was Johnny depp's first movie, and that New Line Cinema put absolutely everything ( which wasn't much ) into this project. They were the only company that thought this project by Wes Craven could work
Van Wilder - Rise of Taj ...
Wow! I can't believe it. I searched, and nobody posted it.
The Simpson's Movie
(I was going to order it a few months ago, but waited for cable. Nothing better on the tube tonight, and it has arrived)
CodeName: - The cleaner.
Just watched Monster Inc and Shrek 3 last weekend. I feel that the idea of monsters were scaring the children for electric power, and the monsters were actually more scared of the children, is pretty unique.
I recommend folks here a japanese movie about heavy metal music, Detroit Metal City.
Plot
Soichi Negishi is a shy and gentle young man who dreams of a career as a pop musician. Dreams don't pay the bills, so he's ended up as the lead singer of a death metal band called “Detroit Metal City.” In stage costume he is Johannes Krauser II, rumored to be a demon, to have killed and raped his parents, to wield his giant death penis with abandon, etc. etc. Negishi despises DMC and all that it stands for, but so help him, he's a terrific performer and can't walk away from that. As DMC's star rises Negishi tries to satisfy both worlds, but can he? No. No, he can't.
This unique movie is so funny, I was laughing hilariously. There is this part: DMC fans were waiting for Krauser at the back door after the performance ended, when Negishi came out, nobody recognised him as Krauser. All the fans were talking about how 'powerful" this Krauser was and was rumored to have raped 9 women under 1 minute. Negishi was thinking "Ohh.. Don't say these horrible things about me. I am still a virgin!" and sneaked away.
I just watched a funny Japanese movie titled "Handsome Suit".
It is about a fat and ugly guy who proposed to a beautiful lady and was rejected by her. He chanced upon Handsome Suit which can make him handsome and slim. Ultimately, this movie is about having inner beauty is greater than outer beauty. The movie has a pleasant twist in the end, which makes everyone happy.
