I'm happy today.
My French home team Toulouse won the Rugby European cup this week end. And I've been able to see them as the final was played in Ireland. It was a nice, very nice, rainy day :)
Congratulations,Quote:

Rugby is not mass popular here, from my poin of view it is something similar like american socker :)
The difference is that American football is played almost only in the USA while Rugby is played in many countries. It is not as world popular as soccer, though.Quote:

What would be the most popular sports in your country?
Here in Ireland, the most popular is probably soccer, followed by Gaelic sports (Gaelic football and Hurling) that are sports played only in Ireland.
Soccer of course (football it is called... such for all Europe countries?).Quote:

From point that this is a sport game of most part of boys here :) When I was young (hmm ... not so old in my 21, but I mean 8-15 years old), I have being played it too. Ehh... good time, practically every day in summer. Then basketball probably + hockey in winter. But there are no any big wins of our national sport teams. Hmm, oh may be U remember a match Belarus vs. Sweden in Winter Olympic Games 2000. We win :D It was a real sensation. Nevertheless our hockey team sometimes consists in 8 top country-teams. We often have high places (1-3 sts) in biathlon, gymnastics.
Mostly. It is called football in most places, except in the countries that have there own sport called football, like the US and Ireland.Quote:

I enjoy the sport of 12oz curling...but after that I'd say football (american) I love to hit people..it's so fun...then soccer then basketball...baseball is too boring, but camden yards is the best reason I can think of watching it....like I always say if yer ever in maryland...you have to stop in on camden yards...I cannot think of any stadium that compares to it...but I'm then I'm from maryland....bring lots of money, the beer is not cheap...

Camden Yards... good stadium... I've been on the field there you know... They're getting rid of the stadium in my city, but personally I don't see what's wrong with it, except that baseball is meant to be played on grass not concrete...

Sorry if mistakes! I've picked the list from the Internet.
Ovidiu:
We had a list of this type at the beginning of the thread. Didn't you read it all? ;) :p
The list you give contains more than just countries. Plus, France is there twice. I know this is the most important country in the world (:D), but once is still enough...
Yeh, but it will be good to add Belarus to the list above .
So than I could vote for it :D
btw.. hot today uff
Yup, although I am from India, its also very hot for me....Quote:
