And the one who created Rome was Romulus, twin of Remus, they were raised by a wolf. I think Romulus killed Remus (but I don't remember why) before creating the town that started the creation of the roman empire.
Cesar/Caesar was something like a General that take lead of the Empire at one stage, and is name was often added the the emperor'name afterwards to designate the emperor.

Thanks to Irona20 for completed the story of Romulus and Remus (for once I think I am using the real names rather than as I remember learning them in latin class). I did not know all these versions of it.

Actually, czar (Russian), kaiser (German), keizer (Dutch) - and probably other languages too - are all derived from Caesar. Julius Caesar was a legendary general, conquerer of Gallia (France,Belgium) and Helvetia (Switzerland) and the first emperor of Rome. Before him, Rome was a republic and before the republic it was a kingdom. Because the Romans had bad experience with kings and because senators didn't want to lose power, they killed him shortly after he became emperor. But because of his greatness, all Roman emperors afterwards gave themselves the title Caesar, which from then stould synonym for emperor. This just to say although Xeon is completely (Simon666's version)/a little (Irona20's version) crazy, he has a point somewhere in saying that Cesare reminds him of the russian czars.
As from the version I remember from the founding of Rome, Romulus and Remus each got a mount (I do not remember which one got which) and Romulus started to biuld walls around his city for defense, just like any other cities. But Remus made fun of his brother and said his walls were ridiculously low, demonstrating by jumping back and forth over them. This got Romulus so angry, he killed his twin brother (a*shole, was that really necessary?). :mad:

On the contrary, I've been playing too little Duke Nuke'm. Duke Nuke'm Forever seems to let us wait, ... em, well forever. And concerning Duke Nuke'm Manhatten Project: I would like to play the demo first before buying it, and it comes only in the computer magazine of september I have a subscription on. So I can let of some steam that way. All work and no play make Simon go crazy. :DQuote:

I'm getting more and more interested in the real stuff. Is there anybody who can help me to achieve 5 kg of Plutonium-239? If you have around 20 kg of Uranium-235 or some amount of Thorium-232? I would also like some high-explosives, and a detonator. Last but not least I need a testing site (Singapore will do). :D
If you do not want me to spend my time trying to nuke people, maybe you can answer to this question . That way I can keep myself busy for a little while longer. :D
Two things...
First, check out the front page of CodeGuru (www.codeguru.com). At the very bottom, you will see that I added a new section (thanks to one of the internet.com developers). This lists the most active threads on the site. (older threads will not show in the list). You'll see that this thread is blowing away all the others.
Second, someone asked about stats between members and non-members on the board. If you go to the discussion forum's home page, it will list at the bottom the number of members and the number of guests currenly online. This is listed a few other places too.
