Orpheus is from Greek mythology, son of Apollo. He's the guy who went into the underworld to sing a beatiful song to bring his lover back to life, then blew it by looking back at her before they got out and lost her again. He is said to have come from Bulgaria's southern Rhodope Mountains, if you ask Bulgarians.
