Oh, I'm quite sure you did, and I didn't intend any criticism. It's just that I'm a part-time science geek (in a former life, I have a degree in biochemistry), and the population at large, it seems to me, generally misunderstands science to an astonishing degree. Every now and then I just like to clarify something that could be taken the wrong way.
