As a former moderator Mick knows very well the rules here (as stated in the Acceptable Use Policy). When you create a username, you have to check a checkbox that says you know and accept the use policy. Moderators are not here to explain to every member what the rules are and how he should behave. We just make sure that the rules are followed.Quote:

Ok I think that last thread by Mick was really intense...I did not think we 'the educated' so called Software Engineers would pull up such issues. After having read that thread I think CG has really gone Crapper. Again this thread!
I think we should forget this matter and let time to cool things off.
To repeat what was said -
- Mick was banned for spamming and profanity. Had I personally done the ban, it would have been for a much longer period because he knows better.
- If someone has an issue with a specific rating, bring it up with me - before making a public issue of it.
- I'm here about as much as I've always been. There is actually a second person (JPnyc) that is here quite regularly and gets most forum notifications as well. He is responsible for all Jupitermedia forums. As such, there is actually more eyes on Codeguru now than there were in the past. I tend to let the moderators respond to more posts now.
And finally, anyone that wants to make serious suggestions should post in Feedback. Joe and I read it as do a few others at Jupitermedia. Be aware, that everything in Feedback is emailed directly to me and several others, so we see what is said. Even though I might not directly respond, there is a good chance I'm working on whatever issues are brought up.
