Also, it is customary here to be suspicious of any code such as keyloggers from fairly new posters.

The reason is that almost all the time (if not all the time) requests for keylogging code, code to disable task manager, bypass logins, etc. are asked by persons who have little to no posting history. This leads into the suspicion that the new poster is up to no good. I've noticed this trend for the entire 10 years I've been here.

I'm not saying your reasons aren't legitimate, but just to show you what the history here has been of posts or requests for key loggers and other such items.

Even I am trying to make a key logger in Win32 smart device console application to detect key status of different keys in a loop. The problem is that when I am trying to save the status of the keys pressed in a sequence of "left soft key, Action, left soft key,escape,end" keys into a buffer. I am getting except end key every key in a repetitive way though I pressed it only once. Because I terminate the the loop using "end" key so. And I have used Sleep() with different values ,sometimes I may get additional number of presses and sometimes ignores some of the key presses as I increase the Sleep() value. One more important thing is that I should be able to get the repetition only if I press the keys repetitively.(i.e., repetition should be allowed only when there is a key Press. I hope the problem is when there is no key pressed the while loop idly running and the GetAsyncKeyState() is considering the previously updated state for a previous key got pressed. So is there any way to make the GetAsyncKeyState() to not use the previopusly set status of the key got pressed or can you suggest me the right way. The following is the code snippet Iam presently using:
