I posted my height in feet and inches earlier, but I suppose I can post the metric equivalent for those too lazy to do the math. I'm 191 cm. Happy NoHero?
Your sister is as tall as gurleygirl (1.7m).Quote:

That would be ~70.5 inches or 5 feet 10.5 inches. Congratulations, you're average. ;)Quote:

I am 6Ft (without sneakers..) :D
I am 173 cm. :)
In India, we can see a vast variance in average height. Kashmiris, Punjabis are usually taller. People from mountains (like me) are usually shortest. So, I can say that I am a taller than most of my folks.
Old thread revived! Anyway, I didnt post here yet: If anyone would like to measure my height with a barometer, it would be falling to ground for ~0.61s when dropped of top of my head.
Hob
If I were used as a cantilever beam and I were a having uniform linear mass density M kg/m, then the amount of bending moment that I would be creating on the support would be - 1.445 Mg (N-m), where g is the acceleration due to gravity. :D [N-m - newton metre - used SI units for all]
I guess that it is easier to put a barometer on the top of a head than to be used as a cantilever :DQuote:

Most of us are of average height (According to our country/race/sex etc.)
Is there any body who is extraordinarily tall or short? like < 5' or > 7'
I want to be taller :DQuote:

/would you believe if I say that I was 1.5m when I was 18 years old and 1.7m 3 years later.. its an increase of 0.2 m in 3 years... :D
Yeah, I would believe that. :pQuote:

I just realized until recently that my height in non-metric is 5' 11":o....I always taught that is 5' 8"....
yes, in 1998, I had a mojor boost of hormones..:D

Of course. But who supported it the most? The French. And where is the office of the International Measurments System (or whatever it is called)? You you guessed correctly: Paris. ;)Quote:
