Yes, inline spell check is standard. Which is in general good - but, can become a pain if you communicate in more than one language.
For example: I am using the Quick Post window now, and my words are all automatically checked for spelling errors. When I have to write an email in German, I have to always switch this feature off first.
In general, I would recommend FF 2.0... No problems so far. :)
AFAIK you can install other language dictionaries. Or was that feature removed?

Have you tried the IE Plugin for Firefox ??
I installed it and you can even do Windows Updates in Firefox
if you have the IE Tab plugin...works good if you find a site
that doesn't like FF, just tell FF to open the page in a IE Tab
and poof..all is great.

Oh, you see - Microsoft Internet Explorer is just a thin wrapper client of mshtml.dll. In other words, Opera and Firefox IE Tab are also similar clients of mshtml.dll the way IE is.Quote:

IE is not really missing... All of IE rendering you see is in mshtml.dll (and most probably, you do have this file - the heart and soul of IE, even if you dont have IE EXE).Quote:

Oh, actually a lot of Microsoft websites (ASP) were not Firefox compatible... Till recently (before MSDN got renovated) many MSDN pages and subscriber downloads did not work well with Firefox.Quote:
