It's the combobox in the lower left side of the page (i.e. scroll down and look left).

I'm glad to see the newest CodeGuru.com Articles section on top of the pages works now :)
I did notice one thing.
This article :
Creating your own Tetris game using VB.NET
has a url of :
http://vb/gen/vb_misc/gamesandfun/article.php/c16803/
Instead of :
http://codeguru.com/vb/gen/vb_misc/gamesandfun/article.php/c16803/
Unfortunately I have to say that reading the articles with the current layout is not fun at all. The text area is too narrow, some code boxes are shrunk and moved to left or right due to other boxes on the page, and had to be scrolled to see the content. Look at last page of hanne's article. Or look at this screenshot from this article: http://www.codeguru.com/cpp/misc/mis....php/c8973__3/. It doesn't look good at all.
Someone nicknamed amigo* just commented on my article here. I can neither see his comment nor reply him because his comment title is "download file" is unclickable. However, I know what he was asking through the Codeguru notification email. Please kindly look into this.
Thanks! :)
Open your Article. Scroll down until you see the Downloads section. You will see there is something from amigo* . Try clicking on the Green plus sign next to his comment. It should expand, and give you a "bubble" with pen picture. That picture means Comment. Then, add your comment
Hi HanneSThEGreaT, you saved my day! Thanks alot! :D
Have a nice day! ;)
You are welcome :) And You have a great day as well!
Not read all replies. But listing the most illuminating bug:
Home page (codeguru.com), displays CogeGuru.com, and Internet.com.
Well, today I saw such a picture in my IE8 using "the old" design:
Codeguru is now spelled correctly.....
I was told the font increase/decrease is fixed too. I've not tested this fix though.
Brad!
When will the spaces between the reputation icons be removed?
Just to be clear, here's what the reputation points looked like before:
Out of curiosity...Why is the CodeGuru logo underlined? But better questions is...Why does the underline only come to the "r" instead of the whole logo?
It's more understandable in the forums because of the oval cutting it off, but the main site does not have that oval. It just looks wrong.
The line has been a part of the logo for as long as I can remember. I don't know what the logic was for making it short.
Brad!
Joe,
How long will the bug with "the reputation points" stay not fixed?
Well, there are, of course many other bugs (may be more serious) but ...
The reputation block spacing is a serious bug. The reason being is that for many of us, our blocks are getting truncated because the extra spaces drive them off the end of the page. :D
I checked the old-style, which is unchanged, and they appear the same way. I am not sure what's causing it at the moment. If you select the original form style from the style chooser, you will see.
Spacing in the HTML output...I'll use Arjay since he's worried about be truncated...;)
If the images were stacked end to end ("><img") then there would be no spaces.Quote:

It was the HTML comments. I turned them off and bingo.
BUG 1669374
Resolution: FIXED
Status: CLOSED
:thumb:
that's more than just a bug in our forum though, that's a bug in vBulletin. There's no way HTML comments should cause any change in rendering whatsoever. That's the nature of a comment in any language.
Great. The next nice thing to do is reverting the images (buttons edit, quote, post reply, etc. navigation arrows, etc.) back to the former version, because the current version looks so ugly. :o
So happy to see the good old rep blocks back! :thumb:
Thanx Joe, you're a star! :)
Do you like the new ones better? They make the forum look like amateur work.Quote:

Brad!
(joking of course)
I've gotten used to them (even if they ARE out of focus)
and I have gotten use to the theme, but I still hate it. The buttons are so ridiculous.Quote:

Erm... Photshop is not the only product that can change the icons - personally I prefer Fireworks / Illustrator for graphics stuff and Photoshop for editing photo's - it's intended purpose.
that's true, the new buttons look lame and unprofessional.
New buttons:)
Much nicer. Thanks.
They look GOOD... :)
