I disagree. Who's rules? Who sets them? The majority, I think not. I have my own rules, and where they come in conflict of... I break. My morals rule me more than any written word.

Who's community? I don't want to be part of any stinking community...leave me alone ;)

DOGMA. Most, if not all, organized religions are in that business.
It is how the establishment of the religion mantains power.

I personally do not need the "answers" provided by organized
religions, but many people do. On the whole religion serves a very positive and necessary function in this sense. It is very easy
to write off these needs, needs shared by the majority of
humanity, as simple mindedness, but it is not that simple.

It is when membership in the religion is used to define differences
between people that it becomes destructive and very EVIL.

Well, I know about this. As I remember, Babi Yar - this is a place near Kiev where many Jews were killed.
There are a lot of places here in Belarus, here in Minsk, in my native town (It was a TV-program on Discovery channel about that place in my native town). My Grandfuther told me that during the war (he was a boy that time) he lived near such place (special reservations(jails) for Jews, called GETO). It was not far than 100 metres from his house. And there are a lot of simple Belurussian peoples who had enough courage to hide Jews in their houses for some time, because in case that the "war policy" know that they could be killed with those Jews (and there are enough those cases of course).

No. It means that those in religions that hate people from other religions will hate them.

I don't think I hate any kind of people. I may hate some persons individually for what they do or have done, but not just because they belong to a group of any kind. I don't like racism and fundamentalism, but that does not mean I necessarely hate racists and fundamentalists.

That's it Mick. I personally don't hate everyone, but I make that judgement on an individual basis. Judge a person by who they are, not what they are. However, I have found that if I meet a person and get a chance to make that judgement, I typically end up hating them. Ah well:( life sucks, as exemplified by most of the living.

Hmm well I just chalk it up to just always expecting to be disappointed ;) It's not like I hate anyone, I really don't care is more to the point, as long as people don't bother me when I don't want to be bothered then I'm cool with them :cool:
