Come on Gabriel! We're waiting for ya!
post a question ;) :D :p
Where is Gabriel? That is a good question indeed. The answer is Switzerland. Do I get a point now? :D :pQuote:

I want to Switzerland too
Nevertheless, I want to say, that this is not the right system here, early we had answered only by priv messages and had some days for posting the answer. Of course, questions were more difficult. Most of us have work and cannot sit here every time and even think about new question in this moment. I think Gabrial for ex. enough buzy now, like some other too.
I'm really amazed!!! How can you know this?!!!Quote:

Do you have a crystal ball ? Or your full name is Simon Muad'dib?
:D ;)
I'll even astonish you some more: dimm_coder is from Belarus and you're from Spain. You'll never guess however where I'm from. :DQuote:

Now seriously, I think dimm_coder is right. We ought to make more difficult questions as most people cannot be constantly around.
I agree.
Sometimes when I come back to see new post, I find pages of new posts.
And don't forget the problem of the different local time. Maybe when some of us are posting, others are sleeping and can answer.
I think is a good idea to let few days to answer and make more difficult questions.
I have a very difficult one. :D Why in my program does the specular reflection not appear where it is supposed to be. This crap has been bugging me for more than a year now. I'll post a sample project once in the VC forum, but I don't have high expectations as not many people are familiar with it. :(Quote:

Finding more difficult questions can be a problem.
And even that will not solve everything as people like Simon666 don't have anything else to do ;p so they will get the question as soon as it comes and have plenty of time while other people have other things to do and will not have as much time.
A solution could be to give answers throug PMs, and wait a minimum time (at least a few hours, and possibly a day) for the asker to give the list of people who gave the correct answer. Because so far, a few times, the person who gave the correct answer was not the only one to find, and possibly not the first one to send the answer, but was helped by the slowness of the server.
This way, several questions can be asked at the same time, and it lets every one enough time to look for answers (even solarflare).
---
The other solution is just to continue as we are doing, except that when there's no question on the line, whoever wants to ask a question can ask it.
well tha task abou the balls was complicated. but you have made it.
I have 2-3 rarely complicated riddles. But I saved them for special occasions. :D
Do you want me to ask one. (be afraid! be very afraid! be terrified)
:p :p :p
A dude lands on a deserted island. Floating on the see, he finds a box containing cigarettes. Now, from the ramains of every 7 (seven) cigatrettes that he smokes, he is able to make a new cigarette. How many cigarettes were in the box, if after smoking 840 cigarettes he has only one cigarette left (and no cigarette remains -- how are they called in English?) ?

721 cigarettes in the box?
Yes. Your turn :)
In a big room, a company of firefighters have a big party.
There are 300 firefighters in the company, all men, all being maried and having brought their wives.
Each time someone enters, he counts how many handshakes he will have to give (everyone except his wife/husband if that one is already here).
When everyone has arrived, the captain asked each person how many hands he had to shake when he arrived. All answers are different (not twice the same value).
How many hands has the captain shaken?

Now I'm about to leave for the week end, so the confirmation will wait until monday, except if the answer comes with a good explanation on which every one agrees.
