Where do you live exactly? My cousin lived in Salzburg for some time and I had no trouble understanding that. My sister lives in Zurich and I can definitely say that I don't understand much swiss-german ;)Quote:

Salzburg? My sister studies there and she said that the most Salzburger speak "Hochdeutsch" (****, I don't know the english word for it, sry) so it's no problem. I can give you an example of my "bad" german, if you want ... ;)
I don't know Wels, but I do know Linz, which is a bit to the North-East. I'm sorry to disappoint you, I don't know the Wels zoo either. ;)
