OK. I meant that the Basque country is not an independent country. It's part of Spain. Just as Wells or Scotland or Northern Ireland are part of Great Britain. And these are not countries. No country on Earth recognizes Basque as a country. It's only Spain (at least for now)...

Well, it´s true, but not being independent or recognized doesn´t mean not being. And, on the other hand, we are not only "part" of Spain, we also are "part" of France (you maybe know Bayonne or Biarritz).
