That's the sad part. I have a very nice digital camera, camcorder and 4 film/snap cameras. I was tired of being frisked at the airport for having cameras so I figured I'd rely on the driving cousins to take the pics.

Made it an easy trip for me, but now I have to wait on photographs!!!

Wow. I envy you right now for having a very nice digital camera. Although, I'm surpised to learn that airport security is tight with those kinds of digital cameras??

I really like taking photos especially of beautiful sceneries which Saipan has every morning. I can't even describe with words the spectacular early morning view of the shore... that's why I'm saving up for a really nice digital camera. Do you have any recommendations? :D

Yah, they pull you to the side and ask to check your camera and you say "yes" and they dig through your bag and run the camera through the scanner again and play with it a little and run you through the scanner again. It really only takes about 15-20 min if you have the camera on top, but I just didn't want to mess with it. :cool:

I'm trying to save up for the digital Canon EOS SLR for "artsy" pictures. My current "tourist" digital is a Nikon 5MP something... It's really been a good camera for me!
