While I've some reservations about this kinda views...I think it's better to wait and adopt a wait-and-see attitude. But maybe you've been eating too much Bush cornflakes, reading too much war games magazines and absorbing Bush-style marketing every morning. :D:D
No no.....just my personal opinion; after all, Bush believes in freedom and I really can't wait to see what's Madonna's upcoming "American Life" album like.
The news even report that this album will feature her throwing a grenade onto the laps of a Bush-look-alike actor and the latter picks up the grenade and lit it for his cigar. :D:D
There is not a person in the world except me that knows how much I want to make the world a better place. Governments such as the Iraqi government is certainly affecting the whole world. I think when Saddam Hussein is out of the way other dictators will be less of a threat to the world and more cooperative with us. I think there will be a dominoe affect. We will very soon push the big Saddam Hussein dominoe, causing many other dominoes tumbling in our favor for the liberation of the world.
If anyone thinks that George Bush is so powerful to have accomplished all he is doing just to benefit his country then he sure must be very poweful. He has the United States government and many other very powerful governments on his side. Those that truly believe he is doing all this simply because he is so powerful are being quite apathetic. Perhaps he is taking advantage of apathy in the world, but I doubt that.
I think people are negative just because there is so much negativity and unhappiness in the world. That is frustrating for me but I understand that the problem is more systemic than individual, so individuals can't be blamed too much nor expected to understand.
People have many interpersonal relationship problems that have easy solutions. I hope I can help solve the problems some day.
Oh and it is difficult for me to respect Madonna because the only way the world knows who she is is because she has developed a reputation for being bad. That is not the kind of person I respect. Not that anything she has done is that bad but I just don't want to admire a person for beihng that way.
From Sam:
Well, I do hope things turn for the better. There's no point arguing over such frustrating things! :):)Quote:

My Galathaea....maybe you've been going ga-ga over the Iraqi war? :):)
Anyway, the news reported that several more Iraqi civilians(innocent, not suicide bombers) have been killed in gunfire and air-bombings. Aye~! :(:o
The iraq war is a big problem for the following reasons.
1.) The people from iraq shoot back. (this was not planned by the v.s (one week??))
2.) A lot of iraq soldiers are stationed near holly places.
meaning that if america hits one of these places they will be
in a holly war. and they will lose this war. ( 1 american again
30 moslim).
3.) If the oil fields are hit, america has no profit.
and its all about the money, why else recreut a new
goverment?
4.) Major point : this war states again that nobody is free.
Ask yourself, how raw/real is the information you get?
It is not, its always filtered. you always hear the info
from one side.
5.) If a small group can fly in to two buildings, its likely for
saddam to have a nuke stationed somewhere in the u.s.
Ready to go off.
6.) Everything is allowed in war and love....
7.) Rules for the world, are for everybody except america.
(international court, america wants to bring people in but
does not allow americans to be jugded)
Life life to the max, before you know it you get nuked or get
a long infection.
Later,
Jewe
I hope they will be able to choose. Usually, the first governement that is installed after the war has not that latitude to choose what he wants to do. The first contracts will probably be given to the US more becvause of the governement the US has choosen than because of what the Iraqi people want.Quote:

It is definitely in our interest to prevent that. We also assume that a democratic and grateful Iraq (and neighboring countries) will be appreciative and that they will choose to show their appreciation in their sales of oil to us. But we should not make that a requirement; we should be able to trust that good people will do that just because it is the right thing to do. I think and hope that this war is occuring becuase it is the right thing to do.
I am not sure about that.Quote:

I hope that the good people of Iraq and it's neighbors will be grateful for liberating them. I am hopeful that by removing tyrany in Iraq that good people in that country and other countries in the world will prevail. There are governments in Iran, Korea, China and other places that will be weakend also and the good people will be strengthened. I am quite optimistic that the world will be a much better place without Saddam Hussein.
A lot of world leaders think that this war may stengthen fundamentalists and create 100s of Bin Laden. If that happens, it would be the opposite of what Bush says is fighting for.
I just hope it will not happen.
Have you ever shown up in some commercial ads on telly ? like Jacky Chan in some gyms equip shows:D:D ? I think SOlarflre would be happy with such cheap price and those tips, really nice:DQuote:
