As far as prehistoric computing goes, one of my relatives started programming on the first computer in the Benelux (an IBM monster at some government location) by rewiring plugs. But he has stopped programming long since then ;)
Talking about ancient computing machines, I had a friend, in the university, who learnt to use an abacus. The first 5 minutes of "click, click, click..." were funny but at least it was a terrible headache to stay together him. However, I don't think the term "programming" should be applied to this case.Quote:
