Oh, how could I forget?! Its around my neck on a leash 16 hours a day :D See, I posted last nite, but here it is, very valuable and most portable: my Lexar Jumpdrive (128 MB) :thumb: Sweet. :) ;) :cool:

A month or so? I've had the "pleasure" of using it as sole editor for 3-4 years (in various Unix environments), and 10 years and counting otherwise...

Does that count? :D

Just had a look at "Vim". This is not the original Unix "vi", maybe you are basing your point of view on this tool instead?

You won't get answer until you forget GUI and use VI till fluency is attained :cry:

Notepad sucks. The MFC EXAMPLE text editors are ridiculously simple and are more advanced than Notepad
