average(GDP/1200million)is about US$1000,it is very low,but thing in china is cheap;I get a low pay for the produce I made is cheap,and other make is cheap too,I can buy it with the few money,except it from other country;it is so low because 1US$=8.xx￥；America government want it get 1to4 or much more for it can make American think Chinese thing is dear; then don't buy it;
then talk about the quality:
Germanic is good I hava to say;it also the reason the produce from other contury is expensive in China ,but many people buy it;
a T-shirt $100 can use 5year,average 20 a year
a T-shirt $10 can use 1year,average 10 a year
the last one is made in china,if a will you,i will buy the $10 one,for it cheap and I can change it often to in;(but buy TV I may buy the $100,I don't want to mend it often)Adidas and Nick have factor in china,if its quality is so bad ,do you think the main company in America will let the prouduce into the world wild markets?

we lost most of old thing when China developing,just for it can't make money and lead good life.in china the time spend on Chinese is much less than on English,we use most time to learn Math physics chemistry and so on which are natural science ,but most chinese old science are not about it,so young don't learn it,the life in city is not different from developed country (the form not the level)
at last:
many people earn less than US$100/year in china(say it out may lose china's face but it the fact),but it will change,we need time, if we are worried about the food tomorrow do you think I will mind about human rights on politics and other;every one love his motherland,no matter it rich or poor;
chinese also!
I am not a member of the Communist Party,but I don't oppose it,only CCP can make China level off,we feel the pain in the 2ed world war last century
and now is poor only level off society can develop,we won't break it,at less now!

You must be mistaken. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) must be much higher. ;) What you have given is the annual average income per employer. Well, it's lower than in Romania. Here is about $1800 (not sure about the exact figure).

When I think of China and inexpensive products, what comes to mind for me is child labor and intellectual theft.
I've seen companies outsource products to China, which never made sense to me, then those same products all of a sudden show up as knock-off products where the outsourced product is manufactured illegally and sold for practically nothing, which I suppose is a side-benefit to using children in the manufacturing process.
We would never allow that in the USA, but corporate greed turns a blind-eye to it being done "over there" since the dollar saved is able to be put into the corporate coffers.

He means that we don't have the Kung Fu which can help you fly into the sky just with a skip. Something like that can only be happened in fairy tales. So you can still hold the dream to be a "Kung Fu Programmer". Haha~ :D
