Now now, KYG.......a few points to consider.
1) My client, Brad Jones, is a busy man. He has to read through each and every post in this forum(and several other forums too) till his eyes are sore and such.
2) It is not possible for my client, Brad Jones, to modify this poll and the countries using a drop-down combo box, like what mention. It might be possible, but tell me, using your logical senses, is it gonna be that easy?
First of all, imagine this : this forum software is bought off the shelf. To customize the layout of this poll to such an extreme case would require so much darn resources, both hardware and software. Plus, how many man-hours and how many programmers is needed? And lastly, how much time and money will need to be spent on this?
3) YOU, KYG, is from New York, America.......a.ka. the United States of America. Is America(U.S.A) not listed on the poll? Or are you kinda retarded?

this thread slowly gets not so much used as it was in the last 2-3 weeks.
There I was 5 minutes out of my room and I had to read for half an hour the new posts, now it is that over the day there are max. 3 new posts.

I had a nice discussion with Chùa from Vietnam. I know him from Codeguru because I helped him a little bit and so we began to write mails. I think this thread is very simmilar to this conversation. Except everybody could read the "mails" (<= posts).
Just write about the language, oh we had it, the food, we also had it, something else, but please write something!!!!!!

er well well well, we are flooded...
As many of other countries had been in the recent months.
It's only the south east of France, but it seems to be quite important. I would say the centennal flood (I read somewhere that a centennal flood should happen on the Seine, and a ig part of Paris'suburbs will be under water). This is not a legend. I 've seen picture of the 1910 flood near Paris, the river Seine had raised of several meters over its 'bed'.
It is supposed to happen once in a century (according to the movements of the Earth and the Moon and so on...)
Is that a subject you want to discuss?
I heard there is people from Austria here. You were flooded several months ago. Maybe you are abroad but your families might have suffered from this?

No I was glad not to be in the regions that were flooted.
It was ver cruel!! About 3 or 4 weeks after the flood I was in this region and the people there made it that you cant see anything about the flood!! The only thing: you could see in the trees (TREES!!) where how high the water stood. In this region the tree was not clean.
We ate in a pub where the water stood about 80 cm in each room!! And for them everything seemed to be ok!! (And the food was very excelent!) I am so happy that the wine that grows up there is ok. You have to try a Riesling from there!! Very excelent!

Well, you have to lobby the moderator to get your country into the poll ;) That's what Ungi did for Austria and me for Luxembourg ;) So send him a nice private message asking nicely for the inclusion of Switzerland and I'm sure he'll heed your advice ;)Quote:

Hum, no that's too embarassing ;) at least for Luxembourg :p There are a few good heavy-metal bands though (including one founded by my neighbour, but then again some would say that everybody in Luxembourg would be my neighbour :p)Quote:
