I never forgot that lines from When Harry Met Sally. I think he is basically right, to a certain point. And If I remember correctly, Harry and Sally had sex in the end... ;)

It seems to me that if men and women were rational beings they could be friends. In general, apparently they can't be the latter. Therefore, in general, apparently, they are not the former. Q.E.D. :rolleyes:

I think there is an error in you logic:

if A => B (A implies B) is true
then \B => \A (not B implies not A) is false.

Yes, they did. But what do you mean Harry was basically right to a certain point?

I guess, men and women can be friends as long as they are just "acquaintances" .. but when they spend more time together, either they have to (like being workmates, or for other reasons) and they get to know each other more... Something will change eventually. One might get attracted to the other.. and there goes what Harry was saying all along. ;) :D
