Yes, I am waiting for that law too...

Someone should propose another one that allows non-smokers to stop people from smoking in public areas by simply taking their cigarrettes and trashing them in the dustbin.

I dislike it most when I see mothers smoking away with their toddlers in tow... :sick:

Ditto for fathers, and people doing this in bus stops and train stations.

What I really dislike is people that smoke during dinner or lunch.
I once had dinner in a restaurant and someone on the table next to mine was smoking a cigarette after almost every single course! :mad: How the hell can you enjoy a nice dinner while you are smoking, I bet she didn't taste a thing of the food.

I dislike it when an attractive girl / lady smokes a cigarrette. I don't know how it works but to me the cigarrette makes her instantly unattractive!

I will have to add here that I smoke too:o, but am not a chain smoker though. Never tried quiting, but will try it soon after going through this thread. :thumb:

In my state (New York) they passed a law that states people can't smoke in public places, no bars, no clubs, nothing, unless the buildings owner wants to pay money for a smoking lisense(sp?). I do not mind this law, I hate smoking around people that don't smoke, its very rude. I have alot of friends that don't smoke, so if I need a cig, I'll go far away. I don't like being an A-Hole.

Ok, serious now :blush: Personally, I do smoke, but I strongly discourage to the starters. And I agree with Notsosuperhero, that its rude gesture to smoke at public place, because its not only you who is concerning there, the people around you affects as well, if you wanna smoke, then go ahead, its your life, you are responsible for that, BUT you have no right to involve other in it.

Oh yeah.. I know what you mean. When I see a girl smoking, she could be the most beautiful in the world, she just becomes plain ugly in my eyes... (sorry for the girls that smoke and read this ;) ).

In the meantime the ratio has dropped to 2 : 1 for the non-smokers.

Well, don't know why, (for the girls that smoke and read this ;) ), even not the most beautiful girls, with cig, becomes....err.....more.....you know......sexy, to me. Looks like I don't have much competition here. ;)
