This thread basically indicates a tragic event that took place yesterday in Mumbai and now we are in the second phase as to why this is all happening.

First thing come to real World and Don't Forget that we are staying in India . Where in Villiage a lots of persons not getting food proper and you are saying they know their rights better then us. Come with me anytime i will show you real village.My 3 to 4 Relatives are sarpanch in different village and they are from last 50 years so i know all of these things very closly. Okay. So Fligh as u can high But always remember That your feet are on the Ground . you said you know your right i can bet That if in gudgao or noida a Policeman caught your .if you don't know any good or powerful Person you can't do anything .that time you will Forget your Rights. So my Question is till Then Portly and people are uneducated in the contry . No one can think high.
Because as i know high wind blown on high hills.

I dont understand how terrorrist acts are to be linked with how well informed we are about our rights or how well educated we are.
May be we are loosing the actual issue in this thread and confused it with mumbai watterlogging thread??
Even if India was 100% literate and well informed about our rights and all our netas were kind-hearted gentlemen, would that prevent a mindless fellow (who probably is not an Indian national) from blowing up trains.
Here we are not at fault. The mentality of some people is. They just dont understand and have any human feelings..
Didnt similar attacks happen on so called civilized and well-educated countries like UK and US? :mad:

C'mon - there are not lots of villages who are not getting proper food. They are the reason you are getting food. Think about it! Though I do agree that there are some regions where due to power, water and other infrastructure shortage - they are not able to progress well and are not self-sufficient but things are happening along that line - they are not completely ignored. And believe me, in a region that has no water people may be knowing their rights... it is just that there is no "Right to Food" among the fundamental ones. ;)
You are contradicting your own points.. what is your point?
On the policeman issue -
1. Why would he catch me?
2. If you are thinking of a traffic policeman - then I will be caught once, twice .. but not the next time - because even if I am un-educated - I will learn to keep the following things while I am driving: (a) my driving license (b) no pollution certificate (c) vehicle registration papers and others as necessary. If am faulty - I will pay the fine.. if I am not I won't.
3. This issue that you quote infact makes my argument stronger - policeman are educated, I am educated - still it happens.. education doesn't help much (though to a very small extent) - what helps is your perspective.

My sincere condolonces to the victims in Mumbai. Really another regretable event.. :cry:
But I hope that people in Mumbai specifically and India generally would not be raged and make an unwise and hasty decision, that same mistake the Americans did after 9/11. What I afraid of most not that India would go to war with another country (which could be a big disaster itself), but whats more dangerous is the Indian people going to war with each other, religious clash as seen before. I hope not to see that kind of news..
from your discussions (which is off-topic:p), you guys are saying about educating the people so that they would not be manipulated easily by the politicians, but who is going to educate them, and by what means? if education system(schools & college) and media (tv, & newspaper) is the only means of education accessible to most people, and it is controlled by the goverment which is run by bad politicians, I don't see any hope..
some might say that in western developed countries (US/UK.. etc), the people are more educated, yes, very true, but they are not well informed or exposed. They might know everything about internet banking or the DNA structure in detail (i'm exagerating here:D) but do they know how to differenciate a muslim fundamentalist and a terrorist? you see my point is not blaming the people, rather the blame is on the leaders, the law makers, the goverments, most presidents are more concerned about his presidency rather that the country and its peoples..! They are slaves to their idealism rather that serving the people that same idealism preaches, I see that most religions and most idealism(maybe except facism and others similar) are meant to serve the people and bring a better life to them, look at socialism, how noble the idea is, but how it is when put to practical under Stalin.. ok.. I better stop now..:p

dare to threaten us with your crackers. The spirit of Mumbai is very
strong
and can not be harmed.
