This guy is definitely my favourite Afrikaans singer, his songs are always so deep, and really sung with passion. It's hard to get artists like that these days, especially in South Africa - here it seems that if mommy and daddy have enough money whoop! you have a record deal.
Recording a cd, is very expensive ( I should know ;) ), and being able to flood the market with your cd, is virtually impossible, it seems as if, record labels do a credit check on you before they want to help you! LOL! Seriously, I love music, and especially Afrikaans, but, it's hard to find good stuff here.
