Accentuate the beauty... Agreed. But, I dont think its for men's sake (and my statement was in that context).

It's for improving one's social standing.

yes it does not neccessarily be for men's sake. But to feel good about yourself and be confident. And if your confident on how you look , the rest goes, and maybe just maybe improve social standing.

But I've seen a lot of women who wears a lot of jewelry and they don't look fabulous at all, they look like a walking pawnshop :D

There is a slight difference... For example: A car makes a purposeful vehicle of transport. It takes one from point A to point B. In addition, it may or may not be a statement of social standing.

So, purpose came first... And the rest followed.

...In that sense a car is not an accessory... But, jewelry is considered one - universally.

However, one might debate men being interested in jewelry... What with famous rap artists, etc wearing tons of metal on them... :D

well you just said it :D if it was just a purposeful mode of transport.... y do ppl keep changing cars to better ones. powerful ones , stylis ones.... :confused: mind you its done wen the older one is still in workin condition ??? and many a times ppl go for more costiler ones his friend or neighbour has one ( or a matter of fact to show off ) social standng :D :thumb: ... its not just about cars...there are many other things in the ist as similar :D ;)

That is correct... People go for beautiful cars, a second car, etc. But, cars in general are not accessories.

Unlike Jewelry - right from the first one onwards... :D
