True Coders........the Discussion.

Xeon, so you're the one responsible for the absence of Gabriel? I miss him, he was helping much!
I was wondering why he was never around any more...
Elrond do you know? You used to be both on my threads.
Well, Marina.......first of all, u seems to be the only female poster here. There are gurls who're members of Codeguru.com, but they have never posted more than 1 thread. Really pathetic, eh? :D
Actually, Gabriel........I just have a strange feeling he's gone forever. After all, before Plexor came along, I was already a nuisance sometimes. He sent me an angry e-mail(wasn't the first time) and blasted me till I smashed into the Valleys of the Sun. I was thinking of firing back at him with my Corona Blaster, but my soft heart held me back. He told me that if folks like me continue with my nonsense, he would leave Codeguru for good. That time, I promised him I would change, but I didn't really. So, I guess he got really fed up and left. He used to be a frequent poster and helper, and even if he's still around, he doesn't help us much now.
Now, sadly......this is what happens to folks who treat C++ too seriously. Disputes arises, wars are started, battles are raged, and the blood of the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve(us humans) are turning the oceans a crimson red. Such was a great poet, such was Xeon, the Poet of all grand poets.
And yeah. I don't think there would be any problem making a total of 500 replies in this thread.
For start, each one of us can introduce ourseleves, our favorite programming language, our best programming tools, what kinda gurls/boys turn us on, the animals and dinosaurs we like and a discussion of them, our religion and a discussion of them, our favourite food, clothes, music, plants, monitor brand, processor brand, keyboard and mouse brands and the kinda houses we live in.
Then, we can proceed on to discuss what kinda tables and chairs impress us most, and what we usually look in when choosing furniture for our homes.
We can also start talking about the universes and a huge debate on who created the Universe : God or Science.
Then, we can give an overview of the country we live in and what we like about it, as well as the traditions, cultures and people there, as well as some tourist attractions.
Next, all of us can begin a discussion of the types of software and such, before moving on to hardware. Then, we might wanna spend some time to criticise Microsoft before moving on to our main discussion.(all those mention above are just appetisers)
The main course of the food, I mean......the main discussion, would include the goal of our lives, our setbacks thus far, our dreams and our hopes etc. And after that, we can start discussing whether the US should oust Saddam Hussein. After that eternal discussion, we can go on to whether C++ is better than Java etc.
Next, since most of the folks here are men, we can start discussing how we can take card of our kids, our wives, and how to make them happy and stuff. Then, we might wanna form groups of 5, and start writing a small ultility that helps us to optimize family relationships and debug any quarrels or crashes in the family.
After that, we will start on the discussion of geological rocks and the different formations on the earth surface, before ending all these geographical discussion with a brief overview of what the earth was like in the Paleozoic Era(the time of micro-organisms in sea-beds) to the Tertiary Era.(the time of prehistoric mammals like Megatherium and the Sabre-Tooth Tigers etc.)
After the interesting discussion, we can move on to human cloning and the DNA genes. After that, we can talk about the latest games on the market and the walk-throughs and secret codes and tips for beating the game.
Before moving on to the Desserts section(the Conclusion), we will invite Elrond to give us a long darn speech on heavy metal music and the auto-biography of a musician. After that......no no......be patient, please. Ok, ok.....after that, JeffB, the owner of Amazon.com, will show us a chart of his company's anual and quarterly earnings. Mr. Bezos is also kind enough to provide us with 2 free books each.(we get to choose the titles.....!!!!!!!!)
Finally, after these discussions, we can start talking about what the Abyss is and what it means. Then, we can start having a debate of whether the chicken comes first before the egg or vice versa. After this debate, we'll rage another debate on whether gurls should be cute or whether they should be pretty.
Lastly, we will round up this undead thread by solving the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, the man in the Iron Mask, the Loch Ness Monster, the Aztecs and the stones in Ireland.(the Petrified Army, they call it)
Of course, all these discussions will no doubt make the entire thread rocket to over 1300 posts(I'm 1000000% darn sure it will).
After we've achieved that, our next hurdle is to make the entire Codeguru.com servers run outta disk space and bandwidth.
But first, let's achieve over 1300 posts in this thread first. After u folks have done that, I'll present to you my massive library of over 1200 books, each containing over 500 topics, which is in turn divided into 350 sub-topics each. Each of sub-topics include 20 chapters, so everything should be enough. Don't worry.
The man is the man, and God is the Lord.
My name is Xeon, and I am the man.
(gurls....please don't go crazy over me......it's not worth it......I know I'm really an unresistable guy, but I don't wanna see ****-turned-lunatics running all over the place)
"Stop changing" picture...
...is really a nice one!
;)

Unfortunately, your name does not make it obvious for most of us. It also depoend on which forum you usually write, because Xeon only hangs around the VC++ forum.
That's the problem with a lot of name finally, they don't really tell who we are, even if they sometimes say something else:
Elrond: fan of the lord of the ring (long before the movie was out :) ).

What?
As I said, it's from the lord of the rings. It's not a major character from the story, so almost only fans of the lord of the ring will know it at once. And one who don't know it at once is definitely not a fan.
Why?
I am trying to fool myself and the other by using the name of the wisest, even though most people don't know him and don't know he is meant to be wise. :D:D
In fact I used this name even before subscribing to CodeGuru, when I wanted to change from the old one that were too childish... :p
