Here in Ireland, the most popular is probably soccer, followed by Gaelic sports (Gaelic football and Hurling) that are sports played only in Ireland.

From point that this is a sport game of most part of boys here :) When I was young (hmm ... not so old in my 21, but I mean 8-15 years old), I have being played it too. Ehh... good time, practically every day in summer. Then basketball probably + hockey in winter. But there are no any big wins of our national sport teams. Camden Yards... good stadium... I've been on the field there you know... They're getting rid of the stadium in my city, but personally I don't see what's wrong with it, except that baseball is meant to be played on grass not concrete...

I know, not all from the list are countries, as well defined in the dictionary,
but I think it's not fair for sobebody located for example in Martinique to vote here for France. Maybe better is to list France twice. :D
As a remark, the little town where I live has got more people than Luxembourg, listed in this poll.

And about "Saucisse de Toulouse" and Foie Gras and Cassoulet and plenty of others, they are a French speciality that is produced almost only (exclusively for some) in South West of France. And I can assure you that no sausages taste like the "Saussice de Toulouse".
French Cuisine might still be the best in the world. :)

I'm sure you could quickly get bored of most cuisines, but french has so many specialities that you could probably eat something different (and very good) at every meal for months.

The spiciest thing I've ever tried is probably a Thai soup, in a little Bangkok restaurant hidden from most tourists. THAT was really hot :eek:

Tomaters are only good if you grow them yourself.
The store bought ones are...well... s***
Tomatoes are only good about 2 months of the year when the local grown ones can be bought yes or grown. The other 10 months of tomatoes from Guatemala, Mexico, Chile, New Zealand, and California is bad tomato time.
The problem with growing them yourself is A) the squirrels seem to take 1 bite out of each tomato and/or B) you end up with more tomatoes than you know what to do with.

I resorted to putting them in a blender and freezing the result. I could then use it for the rest of the year to make tomato sauces.
