Anyway, in the US it goes one of two ways:
6-11 yrs old - Elementary School (5 years)
12-14 yrs old - Middle School (3 years)
15-18 yrs old - High School (4 years)
Then college
OR
6-12 yrs old - Elementary School (6 years)
13-15 yrs old - Junior High School (3 years)
16-18 yrs old - High School (3 years)
Then college
