Watched Knowing on Friday. Brilliant, except for the end which is a bit overboard.
Just watched "Enchanted" 1 week ago but I still like "Bedtime Stories" better. My next Disney movie will be "Race to Witch Mountain".
Last weekend, I have watched "Race to the Witch Mountain", "Knowing", "Fast & Furious", "The Iron Giant", "Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles", "Space Chimps" and "Horton Hears a Who". 2 of the movies has to do with UFOs and 4 of them are animations.
Eagle Eye
I liked it! :thumb:
I watched Aliens in the Attic last Friday and X-Men Origins, Wolverine, on last Saturday. Aliens in the Attic is hilarious! Wolverine is not as good as I expected because my friends said it was really good, so my expectations is too high?
Of course not! I just am not interested in any of them.
I prefer High School Musical 3
Yesterday I glued my eyes to "My dad is better than your dad" game show.
Watched - Watchemen.
Not bad at all :D
I saw the bad lieutenant last week, it's okay, not soo good.
I watched the very disappointing District 9 last night.
Really not what I expected
2012. Hands up who really belives that the world would end on 21 December 2012. It's amazing how gullible people are. It is a good movie, don't get me wrong, but all the unecessary hype surrounding it is driving me nuts! This reminds of the time people thought that computers would "break" after the year 2000
Watched Avatar the other day. I should say that I was blown away! :thumb:
Harry Brown - Decent british version of Gran Torino sort of. 8/10
In the loop - Brilliant. A must see. Very humourous story revolving around British politics. 9/10
The life of Brian - seen it hundreds of times and still laugh my head off. 12/10
alice in wonderland
memento
spiderman 1-3
Also watched the New Robin Hood movie.
I give it a firm :thumbd:
Very disappointed.
It mostly concentrated on the French Invasion. very thin story line. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves was a hundred times better, heck, even Robin Hood Men in Tights was better!
Hey, are you a representative for Donahues ?
Watched "The Other Guys", Refreshing Action comedy :)
Christmas with the Kranks
A 2004 movie. Kinda boring.
The last X'mas movie prior to this movie is A Christmas Carol. A CGI movie.
Knight and Day is very good!!!
I watched Pan's Labyrinth, a Spanish movie (2006) with English subtitles after my coworker told me it was not a horror movie.
Just watched Taken and the Last AirBender. Both are average films!
"Miracle on 34th Street" now, and AVATAR later...
Just Watched "The Social Network" :) , It's pretty average movie..
Watched Inception and find it not to be that fascinating.
Watched Expendables and find it average.
Watched Sorcerer's Apprentice, an ok show!
The French Connection, 1971.
Good movie, at these times they knew how to make good movies.
One of the best copmovies of the 70's with Gene Hackman en Roy Scheider.
So many movies out there and on my bookshelf, I don't understand which one is about what at one time. I convince myself to simply look at the cover's image to have a glimpse of its content.
I wasn't up last night to watch any, and I tried to be as much open as I could [It wasn't me at all 6 years ago, you know] before everyone at the Christmas party.
I just finished "Black Swan", a good movie to watch. I give beautiful Natalie 5 stars for the best actress in an innocent Nana character. What a lovely brain it is before all she discovers is just her "dreams"! She falls down and dies in fame after long days of struggles against her imagined competitors. Excelent Nana-the ballet dancer!
And Now for Something Completely Different by Monty Python. :thumb:
Happens to be from 1971 too.
Quite disappointed with Black Swan. Perhaps I just don't understand what all the fuss was about. Same with Hurt Locker - cannot believe it won so many oscars!!!
Watched 'V for Vendetta' last night (BBC). The message is getting louder and louder :)
If we're talking dream worlds: The Matrix is waaaaaaaaay better and far more philosophical. And even more believable.
I didn't really get Black Swan either. I mean, it was rather artistic in the way it presents itself, but other than that... She was a little crazy, and then she dies in fame... So what?
If we're talking crazy: Beautiful Mind was so much better. Shutter Island is also really cool when you watch it the second time. And if we're talking really crazy, try Jacob's Ladder. And if we're talking reeeeaaaaaallllllyyy crazy, try The Legend of Two Sisters, a Korean horror (it only really makes sense at the very end.)
"In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate."
That was one of the best movies I've seen recently (or in a long time). To bad many people in the US didn't really get it, or so I've heard.
Nice! I love all such movies (horror, suspense). Clearly on this board such people do exist, from 'envy' to 'blind', from 'real' to 'unreal'. We are proud to say that we have had an excellent online professor - who occupies a "real" position as a regional director with many years round being active in the field. The fact that she has quite a lot of competitors can not be denied. They claim everywhere that her instructions misguide, mislead people, and even are > 5-70% incorrect, for they want to promote their "UNREAL" positions and "imaginative" power in most cases. This is the truth, and real! Our professor's talks are more considerate, needless to say, because she is not in her 20s or 30s . Yeah...
Rat Race (see signature - lower part :D).
Chief Tall Tree (Character) from The Valley of Vanishing Men (1942)
I am always fascinated about that classical movie,
Watching the movie offers me ideas to "climb up the tall tree", so I sound, but the tree I climb never seems to be that tall! :(
Watched a whole bunch of movies this weekend :
Megamind
Despicable Me
Machete
Magruber
Devil
Magruber is horrible, Devil is so predictable. Machete is very cool, just like any Robert Rodriguez movie. Despicable me is cool, and Megamind is also cool - just like its soundtrack
Silly me. I forgot these as well :
Frozen
Gun
Faster
Frozen was quite good, I loved it, my wife didn't - it was a bit graphic at some points.
Gun was OK
Faster, a waste of time, sadly
Sounds like it depends graphics too much, movies are made as graphics, when I dont need movies, movie industry dies out
I don;t like money making behavior attitudes, movies fall into this, it seems
we don't need our school of thoughts, it sucks
I am interested in movies related to brain activities. I have watched all of 2009's and 2010's, and have to wait until this year end for new outcomes. Does getting over roughly 20 years old also correlate to one's IQ "improvement" or development of management skills ? I don't know but I am fascinated to hear people's explanation, and seriously, I want to have a baby brain.
I just heard of a case a biologist of a prestigious university is planning to turn a man into a gay via online social pressure and internet psychology. THAT Sounds great! :D
You know this can be a movie theme for next next or next year. Needless to say, it is not uncommon that a genius is somewhat insane with superficial ideas. Good luck!
May I have a correct output from the rotary robot tomorrow ??? :(
Who is going to prevent is not my "friend" then. :(
I just finished "Source code".
WOW, good movie. :D
