I reckon the building are well made. Even if everything is fake, I reckon americans put the efforts to copy nice things. The most impressive for me was in the Venitian hotel gallery, where you have the shops, it is a street with a fake sky that gets the evening lights... it creates a really nice atmosphere. And the canal is not as smelly as the Venice one! :-/
I spent 4 days there last year. It was ok. We got the 0.01% chance of rain for October, we must have been VERY lucky!!

Las vegas is really a city of sin...the time I was there it was like 116 degress, ohh but it was a dry heat...yea right. Very nice cheap hotel room though, got a very nice room at the hilton for like 40 bucks a night, wasn't my dime but still. I guess they just want to get the dough back on gambling. Vegas can be a horrible place to get an education. However, just outside of town is this place called the Valley of Fire which is a beautiful place to kick back and find yourself Jim Morrison style (if ya grok).
