Yes, that appears to be the case, but not anywhere soon.

They'll be fighting REAL WARS in REAL BLOOD!

Aye.....these guys need to live in the real world and get a life. That's all I can say.
I believe the main purpose of these impractical games is to inspire young boys to join the army as regular folks.(full-time soldiers)

During that 5-day military camp a few weeks ago, they showed us a video about how wonderful the army is, with all those cool fight planes shooting missles saving their own troops in the nick of time! Last man standing, eh?! :cool:

Some of the boys were impressed and got inspired, but not me. Too bad. :p

Anyway, in Japan or South Korea, I think the military provides prostitution service for their soldiers to boost troops' morale. :D

DARN COOL, I SAY!!!!!!! MiCk......maybe you gotta pack your bags and apply for a second visa in these 2 countries, and join their armies. >:->

Hey, Hometown, seems that historicaly Nina is a Georgian name (not the state of USA but the country on Kavkaz). It is videly uses among even slavonic countries. So there are enough girls with name Nina here in Belarus.

Yes, and I'm sure there are more than 17 French as well. However, not every one comes here to vote.

Plus Brazil was added later during the thread life and some may have voted in Others prior to that.

It's sure that the numbers are not accurate, but they still give an idea about who's around here.

How are things in Brazil at the moment? (Even if you're not there, if your Bresilian half won, it means that Brasil must be important for you).

in brazil live goes on (as it allways did) people don't bother too much about things, hence the relaxed way.

But it seems things could be getting a little better. Lula might get things going allthough my personal opinion is he wont get as far as he might wish. Corruption still rules.

Hello again

Hi!

I just wanted to say hello, it's been such a long time since I was chit-chatting with you for the last time. And then, I opened codeguru's web page and the 'Where are you from?' thread was not in there!!! :eek: :(

It was such a frightening feeling, suddenly the thread was gone and I started feeling lost in the space. But then I realized I was able to choose 'threads from the last 45 days' instead of 30, and so I did. And there it was! :)

So, Xeon, how is it going in the army?. I thought you weren't posting any more, but your posts are here as ever. Do they let you a computer or do you go out for the weekend or something like that?. Anyway, I hope you're not having a bad time.

For all the rest, I hope you have had very good holiday, even when it's a little strange to say that in october with leaves falling and time getting colder. I know Marina had a good time, or so I have read, but I don't know about the rest. Me, I spent august in the Canary Islands and I went to the beach. It was nice, but now I'm back to work... :mad:

I was supposed to be at home two hours ago, but I must finish a piece of code for a batch program before I can leave, so...

Good afternoon and happy weekend for everybody. :D

No.....in the army now, I have to give out guns every morning and make them sign whenever they draw a gun. That's about al.. Darn boring for the rest of the day, and I can reach home before the sun sets every day. :):D
