This thread is alowing vote more than once for the same user,
I voted twice, mistakely, please someboby fix it.
thanks
Rabelo
Hi Rabelo, I don't think it has been counted twice.
Anyway it would not be a big deal.
Yes Sonu, I'm still around here... receiving notification when something is posted here :)
But since I'm not coding much, I read documentation instead of codeguru's discussion boards and articles.
How is your job looking going?
Marina

Well, Elrond is closer to the truth since I changed project and then have to start by reading documentation about the project before breaking anything in the code. ;-)
It's been one month and a half now... I'm eager to start producing something at last... Then I wonder if a job as manager would ever suit me ;-)
Filling in Excel tables with figures, attending meetings, being responsible of what the coders do wrong :( then travelling for the meetings, being the cief, being well-paid, ... :)
I could give it a try if it's ever offred to me. :)
I've managed a project once. But since this position did not gave me any of the advantages you mention , I quit, moved to Ireland and found another job, with less responsabilities, but at least I was paid enough for what I did. :pQuote:

First time I've seen this smiley in an email I received.
Now I got it from the web site of a guy from another forum I'm participating in. He has plenty, but this one is one of my favorites ! :D
You may be able to get to it if you look at the properties of the smiley ;)
It's not like anyone here is computer literate... :rolleyes:Quote:

Best Gyro (lamb, peta get away from my meat) is from a greek restaurant in annapolis..mhmm imagine being in greece ahh yummy...and there was a kewl restaurant with some awesome greek bread yummy...
Gyros is still good, but you can find it anywhere in Greece.
Cretan speciality: Kalitsounia (small spinach pies). Try these if you like good food.
I thought when people talked about Greece they focused on ancient civilizations, monuments and stuff...;)
Will you come for the Olympic games? Maybe we should start some C++ Olympics. Who writes more code in one day e.t.c.
Well look I rate countries by food...and umm lamb gyros rate very high on my list, don't blame me blame the greeks that made that good food :) But then I think all the olympics should be played just like the first olympics...nakked :) Somebody better do the symbolic nakked marathon (you know we can sub the woman in for this) and pass out at the finish line :)Quote:

Yep, I was skiing in Switzerland last week. All is remarkably calm here in Madrid now. There is a bit more police and people are a bit more weary, but it's not the crazy road-block, strip-search atmosphere that was in Boston after 9/11. I seem to have the uncanny ability to always be near the targets of major attacks :/Quote:
