Yeah.. people do do!!! :D .. btw.. interestingly in Civil Engg the factor of safety is ideally taken to be somewhat around 2.5-3.5 or something similar.. but in actual designs they do take that to be around 7-8 or even more.. that is how risk is managed? Dont know.. but that is why I left civil engg as a career... but looks like things are not very different here as well.. :D :DQuote:
