That is probably the way they do it. It makes sense, since you can't seek to a random time in the replay.Quote:
I'm wondering if they just record "Player X : Select units in Area (10,10,100,100): MoveTo (500,500)", and just "regenerate" the replay

For those interested (Yves M. at less :)), the patch 1.03 is out:
Infos: http://www.warcraftiii.net/patches/patch01.shtml
Two things about AI:
- Each AI player can now be set to one of three different settings: Easy, Normal, and Insane.
- Allied AI will teleport to human allies' towns when the towns are under attack.
Cheers to Blizzard, that patch was waited a lot ;)
- Fixed a crash that could occur when the system date was set to > 2038.
Who have tested that!!!!!!!!! :D

I thought you were dead. :D And Xeon seems to be also. Although he has posted already in other threads. Maybe he is kicking of from whatever stuff he was using. It must have been very heavy stuff too. :D He's probably going cold turkey, and I'm not referring to chicken chops. :pQuote:
I'm back!
Anyway, Marina, where were you?
Hi Marina, I hope you enjoyed your vacation :)
This is definitely nice :)Quote:

Good morning,
Yeah, Driver is pretty cool. Really 70's. Ahah. When i used to play this game, i remenbered Starsky & Hutch.
The cheat modes were very cool too...the one in which no police cars can hurt you, or the super car which could go so faster that in San Francisco you could even fly, or bump other cars to throw them in the sky...ahahah.
What is the best game today, do you think, like Alone in the dark, Resident Evil ?
And Anime too ?Quote:

wow wow wow...so we are kids...:)
No matter how old you are. If you like it, that's ok.
2 Sylvain and ALL:
Ok.
I have already said in other thread that
MAIN THING IS TO BE ( AND TO STAY ) YOUNGER ( AT HEART!
:)
So games.. hmm... why not? ;) :p
TETRIS - RULEZZZ FOREVER!!!
I even wrote my own clone, when I had been studying VC++.
:)
The best game is the one you like most, no ? ;) I enjoy Warcraft 3 at the moment and some online RPGs (The Fourth Coming and Ultima Online mainly even though they're really old).
I don't like using cheat codes in games ;) It takes away the Aha feeling of having accomplished something difficult ;)Quote:

I like cheat codes, but I ONLY use them when I have completed the game MANY TIMES. It's interesting to see the features of the game revealed by the cheat codes (sometimes it can help understand the logic of the programmation, sometimes it's so funny!! :)). For example, I remember, in Baldur's Gates, a cheat code to spawn any monsters. If you use it to spawn Sarevok, you'll see strange things happenning. It's also save my LIFE, there was a bug that I have faced in the game, without cheat code, I would have been stuck in a dungeon FOREVER because doors do not wanted to open (corrected in a further patch), thus losing my characters...Quote:

I dislike people that use cheat to overcome a challenge the game have, beat others in multiplayer or just to say they have done the game. There nothing interesting in winning all StarCraft campaigns without having done anything except entering the cheat to win.
As for the best game, I would also say WarCraft 3 for now :)
Games coming one day: :D (quicklist)
- Warcraft 3 expansion (probably)
- Perfect Dark 2 (Xbox I think)
- Metroid (Gamecube)
- Zelda (GameCube)
- World of Warcraft (MMORPG)
- StartCraft Ghost (Blizzard again)

As for me, I'm really waiting for Master of Orion III. I mean, I've been playing Master of Orion II since... hum that must have been 1995 or 1996 and I still play it from time to time ;)
I'm also waiting to see what Star Wars Galaxies will be like. Just from reading the technical info it seems impressive.
Ok granted, I do that sometimes too :) Back in the old days I used to write my own savegame editors for games like XCom series and such. Or in MOO2 to edit planets, or races etc ;)Quote:

Speaking of aleinnz and space stuff, have you played Star COntrol II ?Quote:
