Yeah... happy birthday Elrond :)
Bon anniversaire Elrond.
I'm agree...about going to interesting places. Look at Paris, for example, i know a lot of people in Paris, which have been living in this town for a long time...and they had never visit a lot of interresting things. They say: "oh i live there, i've got the time". That's curious.
Some people in the world dream to see some places. And others are living in thoses places and for them it's not interresting at all. Back to Paris. When i was young, i wanted to live in this town. Now, i know this town very well, and i go there about one time per month. I don't want to live there anymore. Come one day per month is suffisant.
Thanks everyone! Now I HAVE to feel one year older :( ;) :D
That's the same for about every place. After talking to some Irish people, I realise that I now know more places in their country than some of them do. Bcause when I arrived, all was new and we have been visiting a lot. :cool:Quote:

On the other hand, there a still a lot of things to see and we don't take as much time now because we feel that we "have the time". May be a few people that will come visit us will soon know more about Ireland than we do.
As for Paris, I've been living near it when I was young. Then we moved to Toulouse. And after a very short time, I knew I would try never to live near Paris again. On the other hand, I still have some pleasure to go there for some visits because there are some very nice things to see, and I may have seen more of them since I am not living around than I did before. And there's a museum in Toulouse I've always wanted to see and I never got the time to see it. May be I will now find the time one of the next time I'll go there :p
You don't like birthdays either? Welcome to the club. :D
Yes, I've done it. During my previous post I had 152 posts in this thread, and so did Sonu and Yves. Now I am temporarily the number one poster in this thread. I guess I can be very proud of the time I've wasted here posting all kinds of nonsense. :D ;)
No, I can't say I dislike it. And I really don't care about my age, not like a lot of people getting near 30 :D:D:DQuote:

The only thing I care about is whether I feel "old" or not. As long as I can still do what I like, there's no real reason to worry about.
And the fact of the birthday itself, I don't really care anymore. We used to celebrate it a lot in my family, but now I can't say I really care about it. Except that I looking forward for the very good meal I'll have tonight :p

No sweden is not in the poll, but if you look at the first pages of replies you will see that is was saved from massive destruction.
Someone here offered a program to limit the number of countries in the world according to their names : one letter in the alphabet, one country. And Sweden was saved! Whereas Luxembourg people could go swimming in the former-French riviera, for France had disappeared.
Welcome Sweden!!
You can also look at our language discussion (also beginning of this thread, where swedish is not forgotten) ;)
Have fun
Marina
Happy Birthday, Elrond!!!
And how it accepts in our country I wish U good health, it's main, I think. :)
Marina, obliging people to read the entire threa is probably as cruel as those evil plans to nuke countries. :D Who was is again who suggested that?
<Simon looks at his own avatar>
Aha, me. ;) :p
Now seriously, how are things in Sweden, how is the weather? I'm programming partly for a Swedish company and haven't heard from them in a while. I enjoyed my trip to Sweden last year though.
I don't know how is the weather now in Sweden, but I know that
I am freeeezzzzing here in Belarus now. Theoretically, now we must have "Womenfolk summer" ( for you "Indian summer" , right??? ) and temperature near +10- +15, but now near 0, and even temperature below zero at night.
And after so very hot summer it's very curiously
bbbrrrrrrrrr, I am freezinggggg
Yesterday i came home after a weekend away.My room was full of the so-awfull nicotine smoke. My sister had a party %[Quote:

Some peeps had smoked in my room !!! I opened the wndow for the whole night, it was below zero i think . So i fell asleep only 3 am. And it was still freezing. The nicotine smell is gone though.
That was in Norway.
It wasn't sunny here in Madrid !
I love the winter... It is so wonderful if it is snowing!!
True, and you can go skiing :)
But then again the winter in Luxembourg consists mostly of rain and cold, short days. So that's not so nice :/
