Do you remember your VERY first CodeGuru Post?

Talking about the first post, mine is this and if you ask about my "Hall Of Shame" post, then here it is. :blush:

Here is mine. I still remember it was just a year ago wen i came to CG.

I joined in real late December.

Oh and I'm still a noob :D

I remember not only the post, but the weather outside, where was I standing right then, who was next to me and many others. :D

Unfortunatelly, my first posts have been lost. It was a thread about the items of a CListCtrl, which were trimmed to 256 characters. :confused: I know there was some problem with the database, perhaps it was then that the messages were lost.

This is the first still recorded thread that I've started.

I never had a first post asking for programming help. I just came in one day out of the blue & started arguing with people about all sorts of crap. :p

annnnndddd my hall of shame ... this here:blush: the girl/guy helped me is banned.. i think he/she is also known as hometown...:D:D

one guy said this while I stuck in a simple progamming: "why don't you try to post your question to a forum?"....I know nothing about forum back then...surfing internet is not my interest except...what a man usually do :rolleyes:

I found a forum(expert exchange) and post my question...and I used up my free point(500 points) for just one bloody question :( ...luckily I found this forum..

for me its the most embarrassing post.. hahaha there are some other post also which I tried answering or asking stupid things.. :blush:

You're right MAX, hopefully no one finds mine.
But I think everyone has at least 1 Hall of Shame post.

Here's a post of mine which landed me in a LOT of trouble. :eek:
Just be warned - that's a different side of me, I hope no one will see again :blush:

Sorry for the interruption, But I wonder how one can search posts beyond 500 posts as the search page on any member gives up only 500 posts with 25 pages and 20 posts per page. :confused:
