Who misses Xeon?
No what the f...? Who voted "Me"? :D
The very fact that you put up this poll, shows that you miss him very much.:p :D ;)
I voted for Xeon! Now it is 2 votes for Xeon!!!!
I thought someone who would disagree with me would note that one. How predictable. I guess it was you then who voted "me".Quote:

Oh h*ll. We answered simultaneously. Now already two people voted for Xeon.
As long as Brad lays low for a while, I think we'll be okay... Xeon and Brad pretty much canceled each other out.
But seriously, Xeon's departure must have been sudden, or else he would have posted saying what was going on. Here are what I see as the basic possibilities:
1. Authority figure forced him to do that work program thing (either parents or teachers)
2. Ran away from home?
3. Maybe his parents took away his internet access, thinking that CodeGuru was a bad influence on him...
4. I really have no clue. I shouldn't have made this dumb list.
Solarflare, you don't remember Xeon. Let me describe him ... hold on a sec ... wait a minute ... ha, now I remember too. :D I think he has 3500+ posts, most of them crap, is a sexually frustrated Asian male approxymately 18 years old with a major craving for "gurls" and food, the latter in the form of the notorious chicken chops. Recently this behaviour improved slightly however, I was just beginning to not dislike him, due to problems at the home front. The latter probably is also the cause of his absence. Anyway, note that the last post in the "Where are we from"-thread is around the time Xeon left. I think we can declare that thread, Xeon and Plat dead.
Hey, that last one rhymes. ;) :p
That was Xeon? That's the dude I've been calling Joey! Oh I've been making an idiot out of myself! (Making? you ask, Don't you mean remaining?)Quote:

But that was one of the few general discussion threads where Xeon wasn't the driving force.Quote:

Simon, you seem to like that site a lot, but guess what I found out from it: BELGIUM DOESNT EXIST!!!
Since you were born there, you were never really born; since you've always lived there, you've never really lived; since your posting from there you've never really posted. But all your posts are being counted! Is this a flaw in CodeGuru?
http://www.zapatopi.net/belgium/belgstamp.gif
[caption: Postal Propaganda: Belgian "Super-man" squints hard to see his non-existant country. No such luck, Baudy.]
That one is dead already for some time you know. Just for info : I don't like the monarchy. It is one of the few things that holds this country together. The latter is a bad thing. The Walloons are just annoying to live with. (I'm Flemish). Belgium has 9 governments!!! For a lousy 10.000.000 people. The amount of taxes wasted on these goverments is enormous and there are always problems on who gets to do what so few decisions are taken and it takes a long time before one is made. The ones that are really necessary are probably never going to be taken since it is too hard for everybody to agree on. Screw Belgium!!!
Yeah, Belgium has a weird government... They're the only country I know of with two capitals! How do they even have room for it? I guess you guys feel all big and stuff cuz you're next to Luxembourg... this will be my last post for the next 8 hours or so... see ya.
We don't have two capitals. Maybe you listened a bit too much to people from Antwerp. :DQuote:

Nope... But seems this thread is a bit premature as Xeon is back already. Well, while I'm busy :Quote:

Who's the other one who first voted for 'Me'?
Initially I thought it was solarflare.

I actually never voted... it was really a dumb poll... i guess that's why its in this forum.
Are you implying the thread starter is dumb as well?:DQuote:

I had the distinct impression solar voted for "can't remember", which could explain why he doesn't remember having voted. :D Solar's memory is not that good, you know. And if you think the universe is 2D and do not recognize Lorentz transformations, maybe I should put up a poll to see which one of us is the dumbest. :p :cool:Quote:

Whoa there, Simon-san! My memory is sharp as a tack! I remember, for example, you being real rude to me three hours ago! And by the way, the universe is 2D, I knew those were Lorentz transformations (although they're usually in simplified form), and you don't need to put up a poll cuz I'd win flat out - just like I win at everything else.Quote:

That memory thing was just to be nasty a bit. If I say I had the impression you voted that I mean I had the impression you voted that. I'm not accusing you. You know that when I would accuse you, you would read loud and clear about that. I said that because apart from CBasicNet you were one of the few people who posted on this thread. I regularly check that poll when I'm only and I noticed a new voted ("can't remember") around the same time you posted a new post. That's all. :rolleyes:Quote:

From Solar:
Once, Lord Brad and Sir Xeon had a terrible battle side by side, fighting each other to their inevitable death on the Elysian Fields.Quote:
As long as Brad lays low for a while, I think we'll be okay... Xeon and Brad pretty much canceled each other out.
I slammed my Darkness Chaos at him, and he countered with his Supreme Cannon. I dashed up to him and repeatedly lashed out my blazing combos at him and he evaded my every move, and hit out with his Dragon Crusher. I dodged the blow and countered with Final Elysian. But this formidable foe evaded again and the force of power destroyed the Olympian Hills totally.
It was a very terrible fight, but halfway through the battle, I noticed the Codeguru symbol on his left arm. Then, since I realised he was a fellow Codeguru, I declared peace with him and we two share gurls and chicken chop. :D
Smart. Solar is admirable indeed.Quote:

Irona says :
Me
So, Irona is the one who voted for me other than CBasicNet.(assuming she's telling the truth and not joking!)
So, I hereby declare Irona as the Unofficial CareTaker of CodeGuru(tm), and the currently most active and prettiest female here.
While my job as a HouseWarmer is to provide warmth and love here in Codeguru, the job of a CareTaker is to ensure that everyone(men and gurls) are well look-after.
If there's any sexual harrasements, feel free to consult me or Irona.
Thank you.
When I said "vote" in "Youngest codeguru" I did not mean this thread.

He has never been on the light side. He tried, but chose the easy path - failing tests and as such a universal study with better perspective - which leads to the dark side as we know. But Xeon isn't that evil. Do you know who the character of the Belgian mastermind Dr. Evil was based? Yes, upon ME.Quote:

Oh, by the way, I'ld like a question :
"Why am I surrounded by freakin' idiots?"
See? These idiots can be found in the "dumb codeguru" poll, as well as this one (->Xeon, solar).
From Simon:
Even bad guys fall under 2 categories : cute and lovable bad guys and evil and hateful ones. I definetly fall under the first group, if u consider me a bad guy in the first place. But we all know darn well which group Simon falls under. As for Solar, he's in between these 2. :DQuote:

And Simon(667 - 1), stop thinking that it is cool to be evil and bad, k???!!! U have been watching too many movies whereby the bad guys are depicted as cool, pal. Wake up!

By the way, shouldn't you vote for yourself?
From Simon(999 - 333):

For a moderator :
I was almost beginning to forget this is really a test poll but anyway : I understand you can delete a thread by removing the first post in it. This seems impossible when this thread is a poll. Is that correct?
For a Xeon :
You're lying to several people close to you. I wouldn't claim to be an angel if I were you.
In Goldmember, Dr. Evil turned good, remember? And Scott Evil turned evil. Does that mean you're really Scott evil? Or that you're gonna turn good, or what?Quote:

No, you must have misunderstood me. I didn't think Xeon was evil, nor did I admit whether or not I myself was evil. I was saying that you and I are willing to joke around, and possibly Xeon as well. (the only reason I don't say Xeon certainly is because he has to consent to such a comment).Quote:

ok xeon so what about the second part?
are you in support of me and simon, saying that we should be able to fool around here if we want to (you certainly seem to have that attitude) or are you in favor of everything being more orderly here?

Well, it's ok to fool around and have a party everywhere in Codeguru except the programming forums. Period. :):):DQuote:

I think we just found the dumbest codeguru. :D 1000 - 444 = 556. Very easy to get that through : 444 +555 = 999, simple as h*ll, +1 = 1000.Quote:

Never saw Goldmember. I saw the first movie, it was not good, but there were a few good ones in them. Such as the parody when Austin kills employees of Dr. Evil, and when they go tell their friends and relatives, hilarious. :D But globally, it wasn't good and I heard the second and third sucked as well or even worse. I did learn from the review of the third that Dr. Evil was Belgian.Quote:

I like in comedy movies e.g. Spaceballs, Little Nicky (most Adam Sandler movies are bad though), Space Quest and Conan the Barbarian (you do not actually think that is intended seriously do you?).
Recently I thought Minority Report, The Bourne Identity, and James Bond were quite good. Others are The Matrix, Gladiator, Leon, Alien and the folow ups on these cute pets, Indiana Jones and the follow ups of this increasingly geriatric saga. I can also appreciate a bad movie as me and my brother then like to make fun by cracking it down. I can appreciate some good scenes and ideas in these also, such as in the Austin Powers movie the concept of the relatives of the people who just work for an evil person, and in Resident Evil the amazing laser scene. The movie isn't good, but you got to see that scene, at least if you aren't weak hearted. Don't like Star Wars that much (my brother does), and rather despise Star Trek.
One thing I would like to know : have you seen James Bond? And if so, don't you think Madonna's song just sucks as a Bond intro?
Hmmm... X30N, do we need a bit of brushing up on the word play?Quote:

As for Sandler movies, I happen to think that Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were excellent movies (far from the best but still enjoyable). It is true that you can appreciate some scenes from a movie without liking it overall, but I'd rather have a good feeling for the whole thing, obviously. And as for James Bond, if you are referring to "Die Another Day," then no I haven't seen it yet. I'm a busy man, but I'll fit it in. (How busy can I be? I post junk here every day)
I can enjoy almost any kind of movie as long as it was made well. I have a slight fancy for comedy, however.
