I can't call it a talent really.
I play chess in a club for about 20 years and I compete in international level.
Writing :) in different forms.
In form of programming, it pays my bills and in free time, I like to write novels (histotric, sci-fi, romentic-comedy etc), so far none of them get published, only share them with friends sometimes.
OMG, you guys really have something to be called a talent.. I have none I guess...:o:(
I love many things, like programming, math, physics, business, music... but I'm not good at any of those..
I guess programming is the only thing I'm good at...
Come on, thats no reason to cry, atleast you get paid for what you good at. Not everyone get oppurtunities like that :thumb:Quote:

Music. I predominantly play bass, but also piano and sax... plus vocals at times.
Other than that... I can make 2 minute noodles in 1 minute!! (No not really)
Well, I believe I have good spacial orientation. For instance, if you lead me to a new place where I never was before, I can quickly find the way out, or the way to an initial point. But I'm not sure I can call that a talent. ;)Quote:

Tom has a powerful connection with animals, wild and domestic. The racoons, squirrels, woodchucks, chipmunks and stray cats all approach me without fear. I'm also very good with shy dogs. Though, I could have done without the face to face with the bear in Yosemite.
Sounds like a BeastMaster to me... lolQuote:

As for mine, still yet to be uncovered. I am still searching for it myself too ...
I do pencil sketching check out some stuff here.. My other hobbies are water color painting and guitars. These are hobbies that I picked up a couple of years ago..
BTW, when it comes to numbers, figures and facts.. I can be insanely off the mark.. Call it special talent ;) Fortunately that special talent doesn't come too much in the ay of my profession ;)
Kirants you are very talented. Those are great sketches. :thumb:Quote:

Once upon a time NoHero was skateboarding. He was able to do several tricks like, Ollie, Noolie, Fakie, Kickflip, Shove it! and Pop Shove it!, Manual, Noose Manual & Boardslide down rails. He even managed to make a 360 down stairset. But those times are gone. I can't even Ollie down a three step stairset. :cry:Quote:

P.S. Excellent pictures Kiran TS.
Yea I used to skateboard myself, and I was actually decent at it, I would do 360 flips like they were second nature, but now I'm just really lazy and everyone I used to skate with either quit or moved away. I also play guitar(lead guitar to be specific) guitar is my passion, I really good(so I'm told, I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but people tell me this :D) and I pick up on things fairly quickly. But my most special talent is that I am able to do absolutely nothing for days, even months at times :D
You are now my hero! :thumb: So far that is the best talent I've heard here.Quote:

I have psychic abilities. If you pay me US $100 per person I can tell what you are thinking of. :D
I have the talent to make money :D :D
I'm great at killing time in front of a playstation. But it's been harder now with the wife & the being married stuff. I'm lucky if I get in half an hour a week PS2 time.
I'm working on it, I used to but noone of them were really serious about it and so I left, and the other guitarist got really jealous of me, and wouldn't play the right thing cause he wanted to upstage me. Right now I'm just recording stuff on my own to send to my uncle, who basically taught me everything about blues guitar, I play alot of blues-rock kind of Led Zeppelin things mixed with a lot of inspiration from Jimi Hendrix.Quote:
BTW, do you have a band ?
BTW The band name will be The Not So Superheroes, which is why I have this user name.
Without the on :D, should of phrased it learn things quickly, I used to play frnech horn in my school band for like a year, then I quit, and traded my french horn for a guitar :D I was getting really good at the horn too, which my sisters friend(whos a music major) said that the french horn is one of the hardest instruments to learn, not to toot my own horn, pun intended :DQuote:

When I was young, I liked cricket alot and my mom always scold me for wasting the entire day. When I couldn't stand against her, I started to teach her about cricket, it took sometime, but you see, now I ask my mom that when is the next series going to happen, what were the scores, man of the match etc.Quote:

Who knows, after some months, you may hear her saying "Get the h_e_l_l out of my way Deniz, or I'll shoot your ***" (while playing Unreal/Quack/Counter Strike etc with you) :D
I've tried that approach. We got her crash bandicoot, simpsons road rage etc but she gets bored of it after a couple of games. :(
Hmmm, well change the nature of the games. Find some game, in which you can play along side with her, sort of competition. And do let her win, to give her the sence of victory over you and when she get up with it, there you go. :thumb:Quote:

I can try that but I must add I am very pessimistic of the possible outcome.
Don't loose hope Deniz, don't loose hope ::pating at Deniz back:: I have my full sympathies with you.Quote:

I'm still very pessimistic.
Come on Deniz, you haven't celebrated your first aniversary yet and you sound like a person who got marreid 25/30 years back. Don't feel too much pessimistic or you may fall to the dark side ;)Quote:

Now the PS2 is blamed for stealing me away from her).
Now, look at my eye very carefully: ;)
I don't think she will want to play ;) ;)
Oops...Now I feel pessimistic too :oQuote:

Lol. What an imagination, Tom! Unfortunately.. that's not me. I haven't even reached my 30's yet. :D
Anyways, I think I dont have any special/hidden talent. Or maybe I do, but I just don't consider it so. But I do have a knack of opening people up. Is that a talent? Its like, I always hear from people the phrase... "I don't know why I'm comfortable telling you this/that" kinda thing. Don't get me wrong okay? These are not random people. I do know them, like acquaintances/co-workers. But once I do have the chance to talk to them and they have a problem or they need someone to listen to, that's what I always hear. Maybe I should have been a psychiatrist/psychologist? :D
Cherish, I don't know why I'm comfortable telling you this, I hate one of my technician, evry morning during breakfirst, he would either bithc about his stupid boss Or talk about another woman's buttt.. and guess what, his fav sport is Wrestling..:ehh:
